buddy u got old stocks...last i got shell ultra 5w40 was 2 years bak at the shell pump.....now its been replaced with 5w30 with E mean eco....i hope some day shell ultra bring back their old grading 5w40....heres the link to show u there's no 5w40 made by shell nowadays

Yep, salik is right. Shell helix ultra e costs 3680 and is 5w-30.
The 5w-40 was the old oil.
FYI- the oil is imported from germany, it is only filled in pakistan.

the grey color sticker-bottle that we have at our shop, shows Shell Ultra 5W-40. We are selling it at Rs. 3550/4L with 8K SCI.
and this is made in Pak. too.

i'll try to have the picture of the bottle from front side and back side also (where its clearly mentioned in Urdu about the origin which is Pak).
because shell hx7E is 5/30 (medium red color bottle, i think)
whereas shell ultra is 5/40 (Dark Grey color bottle, confirm).

Well, few years back, Shell, caltex & PSO were the main selling oils. Then Total came with cheaper oils and get the big share of market.
Then ZIC came and many changes happened.
Presently ZIC & Caltex are the most hot selling items. On the TV they showed something 2 number oil preparation of shell, and hence slowly shell lost its market share and Caltex/ZIC came forward. Both of these companies (Caltex/zic) spending much on advertisements and playing their commercials during cricket matches and hence get the people's attentions.

Today, yet 8 out of 10 customers ask for ZIC or Caltex. 1 in 10 customer asked for genuine Toyota oils. And 1 out of 10 customer hardly get agree to try for imported oils.
And I don't think somebody can call them inferior without any reasons.

not at the shell pump anymore bottle was same color as before....only the packaging has been changed.....i ve seen some oil/spare parts shops still got those 5w40 shell ultra but i prefer new stock dont want to risk if those 5w40 has been re-packaged by some local oil wala

I use it in my dad's gli for 6-7k kms with a genuine toyota oil filter costing 1210rs..
It is filled here in Karachi, Pakistan. Price is 3630/4l.
If you buy this, pour it in the engine yourself- Its kinda fun emptying the whole can within seconds!

passenger cars are the smallest consumers, large scale consumers are HD trucks, commercial factory settings etc and in that case these "khaipya" companies dont work - their needs are still filled by companies like PSO, caltex etc.

But have couple of customers who are buying Delo Gold 10L bottles for their generators.

This oil is the "bees knees" in oils - pour it in and watch the sludge melt away. I poured it in my chevy impala 3.4 and reset its original oil life monitor, its been 6000 miles now, the valve train is considerably cleaner (the oil filter was heavy as heck tho at 3000 miles).. The engine starts from cold like its warmed up. In the US its called Pennzzoil Ultra

And its only a 4.5 litre sump - Its going to flash the oil change warning any day now.

buy same oil from Pak., use it in USA and hope you will feel the quite different results with respect to performance.

Nopes - the oils are exactly the same... How do I know, SOPUS (Shell Oil Products US) is in Houston and I have a bunch of freinds working there. Are you thinking that shell in Pakistan sells - Gawalmandi marka tael?.

Why dont you send a 200 ml sample of this to the address on the blackstone report, I will send a sample of penzzoil ultra 5w30, you will know your answer.

If you think Shell products are different - I can show you a shell product in the USA whose packaging is so bad - it has no foil seal, the bottles leak, the printing is terrible - yet its still a genuine shell product.

Stop being naive - LM and other small time oil khaip agencies maybe giving you good profit compared to Shell, Chevron and Mobil - thats no reason to praise a product. Specially if its known to be inferior.

Engine specs changes a bit from country to country. A countless examples & discussions can be made on them.

However I will suggest DO NOT use Pak. engine oil for your USA Car even if someone offer the free bottle directly coming from the Chevron's or Shell's refinery. Otherwise your engine will grow old sooner, will start giving smoke, will burn engine oil more, start blocking the incoming/outgoing engine's inlets/outlets, etc.
