However I will suggest DO NOT use Pak. engine oil for your USA Car even if someone offer the free bottle directly coming from the Chevron's or Shell's refinery. Otherwise your engine will grow old sooner, will start giving smoke, will burn engine oil more, start blocking the incoming/outgoing engine's inlets/outlets, etc.

lol,, you have no idea what you are talking about? btw can I ask how you came to that conclusion? I usually answer on "I want to open business" type posts on PW with "only do a business if you methodically know what you are doing".

Your replies and comments on PW are the classic example of that - you claim you run a lube shop selling oils to consumers and base your suggestions on "feel and whim" claim oil change interval without backup data and now this. Please grow up - this is an international discussion forum - at least apply basic business practice to it.

Well its not only me who don't know about engine's all 100% functionalities.
I believe more than 95% people also don't know that.
And people like you are extremely rare in Pak. who knows its functionalities far above than a common man.

I already believed that you will surely pointed out that I've mentioned 1.5 L 1NZ-FE I4 twiced.
Because I knew that in another post of Turbocharged engine oil subject, I already gave a wiki link for you to check about engines of Toyota Vitz. And when you read that, it actually says

I already omitted the words 1.5L & the brackets to draw your attention about the different models of engines even having the same number.

One is called normal gasoline engine while other is turbocharged engine of same model.

well as to your point of imported oils coming to Pakistan. Some companies like Kixx is sending absolutely latest grade oils to Pak. But ofcoarse their 0 weight oils has no market here or perhaps only in winter.
About LM, we cannot find their SN grade oil in whole Pak. It means they are sending original oils to Pak. but "old graded", but yet these are working superbly for Pak. cars.
Yet LM's SN Grade oils are only 0/20 & 5/30. Even their website does not show it. But I have its full technical details and will post in some separate new thread as awareness.
PTT is perhaps most cheapest in sending all latest grade oils in Pakistan, but struggling hard to capture market share from Caltex & ZIC.
Valvoline has only 5/40 oil here but its SM grade (old one) and manufacturing is probably of 2010.
There are many imported oils like "Genuine Oil" (from UAE), Momin (from UK), Micking (from Korea), Qalco (from UAE), Splinter (UAE), S-Oil (from UAE) etc. but every oil has different odd stories, reasons & backgrounds. I never suggested these oils because I know these are not stronger yet.
Have heard about Profi car and will meet them by next week probably. Will visit them, have discussions and will try to understand their quality level & other technical details.

you started a thread that CVT TC means turbocharged oil.... Where in this world has this been declared - then you come over and show me a page of toyota Yaris and its engines and then see the T/C written, then further proceed to join it with the CVT fluid sold by Toyota... Do you actually think like this???

The page does show you two different engines, but one bit is missing and is an error too and anyone who knows a toyota knows this.

Toyota always use the letter "T" in turbo engines nomenclature, 2JZ-GE = NA, 2JZ-GTE = turbo version. So that document has an error, you can go fix that too its wiki.

Once again - its not a pi$$ing contest here, we are discussing something that is erroneous even at its start.

The knowledge about engine's functionalities is somehow infinite. The dynamics of Tribology is extremely comprehensive & vast. If someone (plz consider yourself included) says that he knows everything about this science, then it would be hard to believe.
As far as the business is concern, I've many times pre-informed that I am NOT in this OIL biz. But yes I like to keep the bit of the information about fluids and like to share here what comes to my own experience or pass through observations.

GS Caltex is marketing and distributing Kixx's oil.
If can find the reasonable distributor/dealer, then surely try this Kixx oil. its good oil.

Kixx's 5/40 PAO Tin selling price is Rs. 3200~3400/4L. But a shop keeper get it at Rs. 2750/4L. The profit per 4L oil tin is ~500.
So if you find genuine trader/dealer, do negotiate its price and don't pay more than 2900~2950 for 4L tin.

Filter house selling Kixx's 5/40 PAO tin at 3450/4L. They are earning the biggest margins in the market.

The knowledge about car engines is not "infinite" because its man made. The principles of physics, mechanics, thermodynamics, friction, stiction etc have been already set and are followed. Anyway. I never said Im some sort of genius, its some members here that started saying that, Im just a simpleton who follows logic - in this case logic dictates that before recommending a lubricant one should know about the "said lubricant" - e.g. tell me what do you think a lube salesperson presents at a sales meeting in a large establishment - does he provide tech details and achievements or says that "touch the bonnet and feel this between your fingers"

To make it short - when you are in a business - know about it - when you recommend something at least know 80% of it and give factual evidence that can be measured. - Not, feel the smoothness, touch the bonnet idiocy that the fizool dozens of mechanics do in Pakistan.

Rehman traders gawalmandi rwp are behind kixx distribution. I am myself a victim of their sub standard oil. The cars crank was literally worn out in 400km after oil change. I sent the oil sample to testing via them and theey never replied. It is the worst oil in market and you are comparing it with a well reknown zic oil...try first yourself

^^^^ absolutely u r right. i never argue with paki and imported ones , because 100% pure german oils may be hi-tech then our locals but i believe me local oil is 100000000 times better and reliable then these old, fake,3rd class, refilled in lalamusa and in gawalmandi.
