It is available as a Hatch-back or station wagon body style. The later is called Honda Fit Shuttle Hybrid and it was only released in Japanese Domestic Market.

Honda fit and Fit hybrid has been very successful car in Japanese market, it actually has always been in top 3 in Japanese sales, the latest fit has remained in No.1 position also. It is much popular than Toyota Vitz which is at No 9-10 in Japan market but in imports in Pakistan it has not been popular due to its engine capacity which was 1328 CC so came in 1301-1500 CC category and due to high cost it never got popular. Now fit hybrid has the less duty advantage so it should get popular with time as Toyota Vitz 2011 onwards costs almost 14-14.5 Lacs whereas fit hybrid is available between 15-16 Lacs. Now only issue is its Hybrid engine and parts availability due to which it is lagging behind.

So many confusions about this car. I have driven it, a friend owns it. Found it much better than Vitz overall, it was giving 11.5 Km/L on my test drive and the owner told me that it remains the same pretty much within city. But i believe it can give better consumption as i was pushing the car and friend also has a heavy foot.

But it was a short experience and feedback needed from actual owners indeed...

I have recently bought Fit Hybrid Shuttle, I have driven it round 100km so far and currently it's giving round 14kmpl, within city and with very short trips, usually less than 5km. Previously I had vitz 2002, and with similar driving scenarios, vitz would give ~11kmpl. So, I think it's ~30% better than that.

    1. I will post the number in a few days after I have burned a few full tanks of petrol.
    2. Air and oil filters are the same as other Hondas and are easily available in multiple brands, guard, honda, chinese, thai ....
body parts would be a different story
    3. Suspension is stiffer than Corolla, but softer than City, imp. but the overall ride quality is really good, the engine is buttery smooth. transition to different modes (motor assist, charging, regenerative braking, engine start/stop) is seamless. I was riding with a friend the other day, and he didn't ever realize that the engine was stopping automatically when the car stops at a red light

I think you are talking about fit non hybrid because fit hybrid economy is claimed as 22 plus, the latest model which was released in 2013 has 26 plus claimed mileage by Honda.

We are talking about hybrid, Honda do claim ~26kmpl, but I don't know how they get that figure. In real world, ppl get round 18-20 kmpl with mixed urban + freeway driving.

Your grandchildren will likely find it incredible - or even sinful - that you burned up a gallon of gasoline to fetch a pack of cigarettes!

Only the transponder key. With the chip behind Honda logo. He charged me 4k with programming but he didn't made the serrations.

He also had the remote but he was asking ~13k for that

Not much, still getting ~13.5 according to the multi info display. And I've done little over 200 km on exactly half tank. With generally light foot, careful driving and low or off ac. And econ mode.

but my use is slightly different than most ppl, as most of my trip are 2-4 km, and my average speed according to car's computer is 18km/h. any car would give best economy once the engine reaches it's optimum operating temperature, which doesn't happen in my case. (at least this is the explanation I give to myself)
