    JDM Time Passo 2012 -1615006

    IMP POINT:

A1, B1, U1 etc are very very micro defects which are not visible to human eye, but computer picks up it in the scan...

In this auction sheet, this car was registered in Japan in 2012 in May...

    Mileage 9k..

Come to car map... U3 on left rear door and diggi, U3 is a dent without scratching of paint (DAbb hoti hai body me), easily removed by dry denting...

If it was B3, B3 is a dent with paint scratched out....

Lot no is not shown in auction sheet...

    YEAR SYSTEM OF JAPAN...

Year of 1st registration is mentioned on left upper area...

    H 22 = 2010
    H 23 = 2011
    H 24 = 2012
    H 25 = 2013
    H 26 = 2014
    H 27 = 2015

The no written after it tells the month, e.g. 5 means May, 7 means July...

    JDM Time Passo 2012 -1615007

In this auction report, 25/7 is written after the lot no...

    H 25 = 2013
    7 = July

So this car was 1st registered in July 2013 in Japan....

An Important thing... When u are about to bid for a particular car, enter its chasis no on this website

Oliac Autos Japan :: Frame no, Year of manufacture/production, Used car export facts, online car trading and stock promotion

and check the actual Year of manufacture...

because some cars at the end of year e.g. December 2011 will be registered in January 2012, and on auction sheet it will be written as 24/1 or H 24 - 1, but the year of manufacture would be 2011... such car cannot be imported to Pakistan due to 3 years restriction,,,,

Confirming Year of Manufacture is very important, because on export certificate, this year is mentioned, irrespective of the year written on auction sheet....

This auction sheet is very clean overall, minor scratches all around, not visible to human eye... A scratch less car,,,,

As already mentioned, that different auction houses has different criteria for grading cars...

Some auction houses are very strict...

In this auction sheet there is only one XX at boot i.e. Boot is replaced in this car, and it is declared as R grade... Most of the houses do the same in case of XX...

    JDM Time Passo 2012 -1615393

By the way XX cars are very good buy, in Japan cars are insured so even if there is minor impact on fender, door, etc, they get it replaced under insurance, but these cars has less price in auction due to R grade...

If someone is importing car for himself, such R grade cars are best to import...

Now look at this auction sheet, there are 2 XX, left fender and right front door has been replaced, but look at the grades of the car, 4.5... may be due to very less mileage... but it is very rare to find such a case...

    JDM Time Passo 2012 -1615394

Right front fender and right rear door are also painted in good quality... W1

W1 = Paint of very good quality, cannot be noticed....

W2 = Paint of appropriate quality, cannot be noticed by a Mango Man (like me), but experts can pick it...

W3 = Paint of poor quality, needs repaint..
