You are living in another world .Prius ECU already has cruise control function even though if it is base line model .What is needed to turn on the function? A cruise control device .The socket where it has to be connected is already present in the steering wheel .There is no wiring unlike in your after market mehran's AC.
Model up to 2009 also needs a brake switch to disconnect the cruise control but model 2010 and up only requirement is a cruise control switch.
Please update your knowledge .Just don't type to be a Wannabe .

My 2010 Prius S-Touring has aftermarket Cruise Control and Alhamdulillah it works flawless. It was installed before I bought the vehicle.

It came with 185/60/15 Dunlop Ensave tyres, I replaced them with 195/65/15 Yokohama -DB series. The Yoko have better grip=more friction= more fuel hungry- Yes the consumption has reduced between 1-2 or so per litre.

But still I get 20km/l within city. the reason for slightly low mileage per litre is also my kids school in lhr gulberg area.

    the tank is 45 Liter

usually i recommend u tell the guy at the pump to fill 40 liters or wherever the machine stops automatically

    whichever comes first

since most of the times if u tell them to fill it up, usually some petrol will be spilt over the car

alternately you can tell them to fill it up on auto not manually
the mahcine stops well before the spill limit.

it's fuel tank has a bladder type of device which expands and contracts. So the quantity of fuel filled on every fill may differ a little bit. While getting it filled tell the guy to not fill it at full speed and also stop where the machine stops.

Regarding ground clearance I have owned a 2008 S 10th 1.5 liter and now have a 2010 L 1.8 liter. the ground clearance of 1.8 is better than 1.5 though it looks lower. I got 1" packing in my 2008 prius but never needed any extra packing for 2010 it does not hit where 2008 used to hit.

Have changed the rims on my 2010 to Mark-II 16" rims with Michline Energy Saver 205-55/R16. The looks have improved a lot while maintaining the comfort of drive. Didn't go for 17" as they make the ride quite rough. Will post the pics after getting it washed, is quite dirty as you know the road condition in Islamabad now a days is pathetic. I was getting around 23 km/L average but after changing the tires it has dropped to 20 km/L. But am happy as it is still hell of an average on full time AC.

Has any one installed a Subwoofer and Amp in Prius. I have changed the head unit and speakers and am thinking of putting a good quality amp in it but because of complex electronics in the car i am a bit hesitant. Has any one done it yet and if so did you get errors or was it all Ok..... Do post the pictures if you have added a good quality system in Prius

My advise is to get the oil and oil filter changed even if the oil in it is clean. Use synthetic 5W30 oil i.e. Liqui Moly, Zic, Mobil1 or Toyota Oil. I use Liqui Moly in mine as it has the life of 20000 kms but I change it at 10k.

And don't worry your car is perfect. Driving at lower speed usually decreases the fuel average because the engine has to work more to charge the batteries. At higher speeds the charging is mostly done through brakes and deceleration. I get 19km/l when I drive the car slow. Our traffic and road conditions usually do not allow to drive faster hence we have to sacrifice on the average. still in no other vehicle you can even think of getting such an average.
