Bahria town has its own school, standard is really good. Moreover there is beacon house in bahria and city school near thokar.. so no problem of schooling at all.
Think seriously about bahria, no load shedding(uncharged generator back up), Golf club, 5 star hotel, Zoo, Parks, Cinema, gym, hospital, monuments, horse riding club, dozens of Mosques, all major banks inside society, petrol pumps, Shopping marts, businesses of all sorts, all major food chains are in bahria town.
Bahria's own fire brigade back up, security etc is a plus point that no other society can come close to. You should pay a visit and then decide. Travel is not much, one easily gets used to travelling. In fact most people who live in bahria now dont leave bahria town and go in city's rush & traffic...
Multan road is full of factories and jobs... so u can really live there without need to go to city, if you find a job/start new business inside Bahria Town.
Its Hadith.. "when cities become congested, make new cities." Theres a lot of Hikmat in this... New settlements bring new opportunities for businesses and more profit margins than highly competitive and congested areas.
Multan Road/ Mohanwal Road housing societies are the future of Lahore. In fact every year 1000s of people are selling their over priced and pathetic properties inside the city and residing in Bahria to find peaceful living.
The standard of roads and maintenance is also superb in Bahria as compared to any other society, and personally I feel DHA is BullSh*t in front of Bahria.
Just saying though, you should decide over ur own convenience.
