Just a handful of people in Islamabad know about this exciting hiking opportunity very near to them. Panjpeer is the highest point of the Danoi Ridge in Kotli Sattian/Kahuta. It is called Panjpeer because of a shrine it has at the top. Locals believe this was a place where five saints came and got settled. It is at an altitude of approximately 1800 meters. In winters the top gets a few ft of snow each year.
Guyz i was asking abt panjpeer couple of days ago,and then we uni frnds made a trip to panjpeer....it was awesome experience as we did some nice hiking of 3-4 hrs......
our coasters took the route from kahutta road ,then kotli sattian and then a road wid twist and turns and steep slopes....then this road came to end at a point(i forgot the name) as we r busy in shugal program...
then we had meal (savour) and started hiking towards the Top...called Panjpeer Top

Thank you for sharing these photos. These photos were taken on a sunny day and I see everyone is dressed in warm clothes. Is it significantly cooler at this place compared to Islamabad these days?

Did you stay at Danoi rest house? what's the condition and how it can be booked? Any bazar closeby? Very nice pics on this "out of the beaten path" trek. keep posting

sir as it is 1800m so its cooler than islamabad but not as cold as we were expecting...

we didnt stay at denoi rest house..nd i didnt find any bazar nearby,just one or two little shops near the top...

Thanks for information Fellows. So far what i have got there are 2 ways to panjpeer top. One from Kahuta side via narh village. and the other is from Lethrar side.

we are planning to go there on 29 November.

1-Can anyone please tell me which is the shortest way to Panjpeer top. Can jeeps go there till the panjpeer?
2-which is the safest way as females will also be accompanying us.
3-How much a jeep cost to reach at top?
4- where should we park the coaster?
