Tour De Chitral and Kailash.
Summary:
Kailash people live in three valleys, Birir, Rumboor, and Bombooreeet. Their main population is in the Bombooreet.
The bombooreet valley way start from Broze on main chitral pindi road then you descend to Ayun and go along the Bomboreet stream. After some time you will reach a bridge, where the Rumboor, and Bombooreeet way separates. Left turn will take you to Bomboreet. Bomboreet valley starts from a muslim village (name forgot).
There are 5 villages in the main valley. The villages are almost adjacent. Anish. Broun, Batrik, Kandisaar, and Karakal. After Karakal there is the last village of the valley named Shaikha-nanda. (It means the village of people converted to Islam).
We took taxi from Broze to Karakal (Last Kailash village). from karakal we trekked up in the valley upto the Shaikananda where there is trout hatchery and a beautiful wooden mosque. going ahead this point is not allowed by Pak Army being close to Afghan Border. Road exists upto Shaikhananda.
From Shaikhananda we trekked all the way down the valley to the Anish village.
Got hotel at Brone village and next morning get a Datson (PT) and reached chitral. took hotel and spent a full day and exlored the chitral and did rest as well.
and next day all the way back to pindi from chitral.
From Chitral (Chew pull) all 4 coasters ply early in the morning at 8am to pindi. From pindi all 4 coasters ply at 9pm. 3 from Pir Wadhai and one from G-9. You can make telephone booking as well.
Take your meals in time or you will not found anything.
Itenrary:
Day1= 9pm from Isb to Chitral
Day2= 12.30am Dargai Stop
6am Lowari Top
7am Ziarat Stop (After crossing top)
9am Ayun (Broz Stop) (Left the coaster) took taxi to Kailash (Karakal)
10am Intersection of Rambooor and Bombooreet Valley (Entry point - Rs. 20 ticket for Kailash)
10.30 Entered in Kailash 1st Village
11.15 Reached Karakal (Last Village of Kailash) and started trekking to Noorastani people Village Shaikananda (Last in valley/bordered with Afghanishtan)
12.15 Reached Shaikananda - Visited Wooden Mosque and Trout Hatchery
1.00pm Started to come back down to Kailash
1.30 Reached Karakal village roaming
2.15 Reached Kandee saar Village Lunch in the Galaxy hotel
3.30 Left Kandisar
4.00 Reached Brone Village Took hotel
5.00pm left for Anish Village for Walnut Shopping (Rs. 150/kg)
6pm reached back to hotel
