PW notifications problem on Tapatalk

Problem 1: Solved

The following are my Tapatalk settings for Pakwheels.com and I do not receive Pakwheels notifications at all on Tapatalk, either on post quotes or mentions. I do get notifications on PM sometimes.

The phone is stock Android 5.1.1 (unrooted) and no task killer or Greenify is installed, which may interrupt the notifications. Phone and Tapatalk is up to date.

I get notifications from XDA-Developers on the same Tapatalk app without any issues, though I also logged out of XDA-Developers to check the issue, but the Pakwheels notifications issue is still there.

The push notifications for quotes and mentions do not appear in the 'You' section of notifications at all, though thread 'Subscriptions' and 'Messages' sections keep updating correctly.

I didn't receive any notification that you quoted me, I cannot even see your quote notification under 'You' tab in notifications in Tapatalk.

So the push notification problem occurs on post quotes and mentions.

I checked the problem in the backend and everything seems to be working fine. In fact, @libra mentioned me here and I got the notification through TapaTalk PakWheels App and that's how I knew about the last post. Let me dig deeper into the problem and get back to you.

I'm using using the latest Tapatalk App and PakWheels Forums App and both are showing notifications at my end. Can you please remove the app and reinstall it and report back?

I tried clearing data, clearing cache, reinstalling app, logging out of other forums on tapatalk and even trying on another phone.

The problem is with mentions and quotes only. I get PM and thread updates push notifications.

Even on this post, i never received any quote notification.

That's strange. I've created the ticket for engineering team to look into the issue. They'll be doing that in the next week. Meanwhile, try the PakWheels Forums app.

I tried both PW app and Tapatalk, both have the same issues. Hopefully the team will be looking into the issue and fix it soon.

In the following days after complaint, I only received two notifications, which were updated correctly in 'You' tab of notifications. Other than that, I did not receive any quote or mention push notification on mobile. Though people quoted and mentioned me.

Two notifications I received were,
One quote notification today an hour ago and the other mention notification at 17 October.

I did not receive push notification of mention or quote on your this post, so the problem is still there.
