Here comes the most sneaky taxi cab (H):P Well if you think this is just like one of 14000 Yellow taxi cab run under TLC then you are mistaken. This is one of the undercover yellow cab run by NYPD. There are a lot of such bait/ undercover vehicles in service not only cabs but the lineup includes Camaro, Corvettes, Souped up Chargers looks like a modified race cars. They have even regular civics and Camry's as well as ordinary looking vans. The idea came from 1986 Movie " Running Scared". .
NY City have data base for all taxi cabs. Go here http://www.nyc.gov/html/tlc_medallion_info/html/tlc_lookup.shtml and put in the number and you will see nothing coming up. See below one of the undercover cab by NYPD.

^ so one day I saw a taxi with hidden flashing lights trying to pull over a car. The car driver got really confused what the hell and kept on moving thinking its just a cab.. Lol. All the details which a normal cab has are in there. Even a printer for receipt for passenger on dash. Sometimes a cop sits in back seat to copy cat a passenger..

he will never do it. You cant have even red and blue flashers. If you are pulled over you have full right to ask for badge number and cops by law have to give it to you. no cabbie will ever act like a cop.. he will lose everything.. :)

In Pakistan I have seen Fire engines and Ambulances with beacons and siren on rushing to the spot of emergency but hv never seen police vehicles like this. The only sight where one can see them with flashing beacons and siren is when they escort a vip and that can be seen daily on any busy road.
