0W 40 Oil for Toyota Corolla 1.3 Gli Manual

Hi, Any feedback on use of Mobil1 0W 40 Motor Oil in Corolla 1.3 GLi Manual 2018 model. I have heard that it can be used for upto 10,000 KM. Any expert words please.

No oil should be used for 10,000 KMS.

It is one of the best brands/quality oils available in the market.

I have been using it since 2012. Both time in XLis which were purchased brand new. My first xli, which was sold in 2014 was driven up to 165,000 kms with oil change intervals of 10,000 kms. So I totally changed oil 16 times. My second xli 2015 model has been driven now arond 150,000 kms. I am using Mobil 1 0W-40 from first oil change i.e., 5,000 kms with 10,000 kms oil change intervals. I use only OEM oil filter and change that too at 10,000 kms along with the oil.

My cars engine is just like new. I change air filter at 20,000 kms with cleaning at 5,000 kms. This is because I live in a rural area of south Punjab where there is too much dust.

Use 5w-30 as its recommended in manual book..

0W-40 is better than 5W-30, both in respect of cold start lubrication as well as running/high temperature. Cheers,

Bro, strictly follow your car's user manual, and use the engine oil grade mentioned and recommended in the manual.

Bro 0w-40 is thicker than 5w-30 and 0w-40 is not recommended better go for 0w-20.

I am using 0w40 Mobil 1 in my grande changing with intervals of 10k kms I’ll recommend to pour 5w50 Mobil 1 as this is what your car’s owner manual recommend

why dont you use AMS OIL Signature Series 0W-30 or 5W-30 it has a decent drain intervals upto 25 K in harsh driving condition's.

25k drain interval? Does Amsoil take gurantee if the engine gets bad? This poor little engine takes just 3.5L oil. 25K is way too long, good for mercedes benz with sump > 6L and fleece filters. This poor corolla will turn into trash if oil changed at 25k, means 4 oil changes at 100k kms then check condition of engine at 100k kms.

Every oil has a additive package in it and AMSOIL is one of the best i had ever tested on every vehicle which i had maintained. whether it was a factory packed engine or rebuilded by myself i always use it and had a lot better customer relation due to this oil.
Had Done so many vitz 1KR with this engine oil and none of them ever consumed a drop.
Btw i do offer a warranty if the engine is healthy after testing it.
My all engine rebuilds go with a warranty of 1 year along with AMSOIL Low visc oils like 0W-20 0W-30 5W-30 and using it from 2 years and every vehicle is running like a brand new vehicle.
