1.3 manual Gli 2015-16 motorway speed fuel averages

Asalamm-o-Alaikum dear all brothers and Eid Mubarak.
I recently bought a 1.3 manual gli 2015 with very low mileage on it from a friend this is my 5th car after Prius 2010.
mobil oil that i am using in it is liquy moly 5w30 and iridium spark plugs
my question here is about its certain speed on highway and fuel average on those different speeds.
my Prius used to give me 17kmpl on highway with 120kmh speed limit and 15kmpl with 140kmh plus speed
i wanna know what mileage gli gives you on 100kmph /120kmph and on 140 kmph on motorway throughout, if any owner have checked such thing plz do share your experience.
wheels are 195/65/R15.

Around 100 it should be 16-17KM/L. As you go faster, the efficiency will decrease.

i was hoping 16-17kmpl at 140kmph speed. nothing can be done to improve that right?

Nope, after 100KM/H the RPM increase significantly hence fuel consumption increases.

I don't know why you downgraded from prius to GLI. Can you please give me an idea why did you downgraded? Because i was thinking to upgrade from city to prius.
And no you cannot do anything to increase fuel average at higher speed. However speed between 90-100 can hit 17kmpl.

arslan i had prius 2010 for at least 3 years it was S-Led edition with 17in rims by factory.
i bought that in 2016 and i had to change its (hybrid) battery in the very first few months as i was getting 14kmpl after the hybrid battery change it went upto 17kmpl within city but after about an year it started eating engine oil i was using mobil 2000 in it before battery change and the mechanic poured 0w20 proficar when it was in the workshop for battery change maybe that was the reason it started eating engine oil well i had to change its engine too lol, and that worked so well, if you are planing to buy a prius plz buy a clean and low milage car check the battery hybrind and 12v both and do ask them what engine oil they were using in it. best is liquy moli 0w20 but i ahve heard changing oil brands makes it worse. so be care full about that.
my battery change cost me 1lac 20k
engine change cost me 1 lac 30k
suspension and bushes cost me 60k
well in short paisa bohut lag raha tha us pay so i bought a so so prius and sahi karwa kay bech di. lol ...

if you can find a clean car is sey achi gari nahi hai i used to travel at 160kmph plus and stability was so awesome.
so thats why i sold it i couldnt afford more to spend on it as barrings also started to make noise i have changed that for 4000rs, to bas phir dil bura ho gaya tha, lekin agar saaf achi gari milay to zaror len if hybrid battery and engine sahi hua it will give you 18kmpl within city with liquy moly 0w20 engine oil.

and in future if u need to know anything about prius do ask me any time if u see any dashboard lights any japanese masseges or anytging , do ask me i have been fixing it from last three years all of its problems so i can guide you about that but i hope u get a clean car as mine was already had 2lac kms done when i bought it .
i do have another prius thats 2012 thats my brother's and its been an year no problems so far at it has low milage and i am maintaining her for him.

yar halaaat zara tight hain prius meri tamam jama punji kha pee chuki hai lol and travel in these days bohut ziyada hai i guess 110kmph pay hi tarvel kar longa kay beech ka kaam rahay milage bhi afford able ho or jaldi bhi pohanch jaon. ijust needed to ask if anyone ever traveled at 140 kay pata chalay us pay kitna deti hai gli but after 140 gli feels like unsafe very unsafe maybe because of its quite high ground clearance.

18 lacs but prices mehngi ho gai hain so they will ask for more but that model was already in Pakistan before the price increase so if you know the seller in person he can give you at 17 lacs also , but i doubt it people are asking more to make more money over it after the price increase but if you get it between 17 - 18.50 its all good, before making the purchase do check the hybrid battery and the engine condition and do not tell them which mechanic you are going to see as they call them and 10000rs pay khareed lete hain and unknown mechanics masla nahi batatay showroom walon se paisey lay kay.
and do not buy unregistered at all in this year make,

Okay so my father has owned two gli in the past. we’ve owned a 2020 gli (auto ). baba used to drive it on 140 on the lahore to isl motoway and it used to give us around 17-20km/l. we currently own a 2015 gli and it gives us around 20+ km/l on 140 and is pretty stable too. we had a 2015 city before THAT car felt unsafe after 90km/h
