The Karachi Port Trust has come a long way, with all the sophisticated computer systems being used to track, check shipments, management of Logistics has improved. Shipyard is the hub of all the Road networks, converging from all over the country to a single point, where the products are then shipped all around the world from Port Qasim.

Gwadar Port, although very modern, has also just started its operations, it will be few years, before it can become fully operational and at the level of Port Qasim in Karachi. Actually, Karachi is a major city and most of this importance is due to Karachi possessing the ONLY port in Pakistan.

Ports are vital for any country, as they provide a very critical and cost effective mean of transporting cargo into and out of the country. Ask those countries that are landlocked, like Afghanistan, which have to depend on other countries for their trade and pay hefty transit fees and hence end up paying more for the final goods sold in those landlocked countries.

Hopefully KPT, will continue to improve on, and give Pakistan good returns, and valuable investments, such as the KPT Towers, and residential mid rise building they are constructing now.

It will nice to drive a Pakistan Made car like, REVO and live in that Pakistan Made Luxury tower... What a matter of pride would that be. Something all Americans, Japanese, Europeans do everyday.. By riding their own cars and living in their own Tall Towers, with head held high and laughing at the rest of the poor 3rd world every single day.

Now, is our time, to show to the West, hey look at us now. Now we can make our own cars, and live in our own Tall Building Towers.

Indians, Chinese, Malaysians, Thais are already doing just this and are earning alot of Respect all over the world, specially in the West.

Advance countries only respect you and treat you better, only if they see the sign of progress otherwise, they just redicule you and make fun of your culture, your religion, your lifestyle, as it is happening right now in Europe and America everyday, as far as Muslim countries are concerned.

Believe it or not, they still think we RIDE on CAMELS, and live in MUD HUTS. I have heard some misinformed Co Worker ask me once, when I told her I was from PAKISTAN, she just asked innocently, Do they have cars in Pakistan, or they ride on CAMELS.
