Oriel user hello hello is it still me facing that shivering /hiccups / jerks/ issue btw 1.5k and 2k rpm ???.

This time I will be filling up my tank with hi octane.

Any engineers here could it be fuel pump or ac compressor taking load or sub standard fuel.

In traffic it gets on my nerves.

Here we go again, from 7th Jan, delivery moved to 31st Jan as per online Portal...Booked on 22nd August. Sad really, at least inform the customer.

Can you please let us know exactly how it happens and when it happens and under what conditions have you tried to re create the issue?

Strange for new car.....this exactly happens when one or more plugs are not getting the right amount of current from coils....but like i said ur car is brand new so its probability is too low......

isnt it a case of misfire ?... and in this case check engine light should turn on.

You are right but engine check light may illuminate when there is a complete misfire or severe misfire....the above said symptoms are due to weak current supply or lack of fuel supply (which also seems rare in new cars).....

Previously in my 2004 civic the same condition occurred that while cruising on 60s 70s km/hr i did experience some minor jerks and the culprit was one of the four coils which was not giving appropriate amount of current to the plug...in that case engine check light was never illuminated at any time.....

Iam still trying to figure it out , I think it's something to do with air con compressor cos as I switched it off its fine. One more observation at very low speed mainly in traffic when you lift feet for brake car shivers ( dum ghutna) .

Or it all can be cvt Behaving like this.

I'll for sure be heading to Bahria town just to check the car out and try all possibilities while negating the road bumps so I'm sure what causes it and what doesn't and then I'll post it here and see if you're facing the issue under the same conditions. yupp....anything could be expected from Honda Pakistan now...:)...u cant omit the possibility of faulty coils in their inventory....but it is advised to all the new civic owners if they are experiencing such kind of minor jerks do check your car from this point of view too....

If it is reproduce able then take dealership person along on ride and demonstrate and take his opinion as well.

One query. .. turbo owners! If you remote start you civic and after 20 seconds realise that you got to stay more for work and need to turn off your turbo. .. can you do it remotely or have to go all the way to the car unlock and then manually turn it off.
Other situation. ..your kid accidentally turn on the car while its parked in your garage....

Simply press the remote's refresh/start button for few seconds and it will turn off.

Been 1100 kms and not a sound as yet. Do check the bolts which are holding it together and tighten them if they're loose.

Discussed extensively on this thread in the past and this news is not confirmed. Explained earlier with references from people working in oil companies and no confirmation. More of a rumor
