well if there is some missing in engine then road condition should not make any difference. I am not sure if you are taking about missing or vibration ?

What I think the road condition should help a lot when I hit in excess of 60kmph as it's not vibration or missing it's jerks. But when the car does jerk, I need to be 100% sure the road condition is perfect because there are a couple of roads which are smooth like Khy-e-Shahbaz but it does have a design flaw when going at 60+ kmph and then you feel the recurring mini bumps on the road.

Yes it's been ages since I've been inside Cantt but yeah I'll head for Bahria town over the weekend.

Apparently confusion still prevails in my mind when I hit about 50-70kmph and the car is shaking. I don't know if it's the transmission, the tyres, or just plain and simple the road. At least Bahria has very smooth roads and I would be able to finally rest my case and see what the issue is.

Nope. No downshifting feeling at all, happens when keeping a constant speed at 60+ kmph. My first thing to notice was the constant stuttering of the vehicle but no issue with the RPM so visually I've checked the car meaning the instruments and all.

That is amazing average. Can you post pic of Turbo screen and oil health screen also or it just one view in the meter?

I guess based on the symptoms you have mentioned its more like a wheel balancing, air pressure issue. Engine seems smooth.

It is same display that toggles between total mileage of car, trip A, trip B and oil life with the tap on the meter toggle stick that comes out of the meter (standard in all cars). There is no turbo boost display in PKDM civic if that is what you are looking for.

Hello everyone,

I like this forum since it does provide very invaluable insight into the whole affair of owning this car.

Due to some delays, I was unable to book the car at the time when delivery was 3 months. Now, the date being given to me by all dealerships in karachi is April at the earliest. And in a couple of cases, May. Waiting for a car for 6-7 MONTHS (after giving 50% downpayment, or in my case since I got a loan through a bank, installments starting in November), the wait time seems a bit obnoxious.

So I decided to swallow the bitter pill of paying ON money for instant delivery, only to discover that the car I want is not available in the market. So if you guys have any leads of where I can find a Lunar Silver 1.8 Oriel with Navigation, Unregistered, 0 meter, do let me know please. The maximum ON I am willing to pay is 200K on top of invoice. (I was told by a few dealerships today that the market rate for ON is 200k, however some did quote higher).

Alternatively, if you have any leads as to where I can still book and get a car within 3 months, maybe by january or february, that would also be highly appreciated. It would save me money and get you lots of dua's.

Own amount will be minimum in December and again drastically high for January as the mentality of our public "2017 model lena hai" will come into action.
A) Honestly I don't get the philosophy behind it. After 4 years condition is more important than dec 16 or jan 17 on invoice
B) Who cares if dec 16 is 50k cheaper than Jan 17 after 4 years. There is no guarantee of resale and depriciation.
C) In continuation to B if you sell it 50k cheaper after 4 years don't forget the fact that you will buy it at least for 100k more today so at the end you are at loss and the shauq of 2017 model will take its toll when buying at a premium.

I have sold my 2012 Nov invoice 9th Gen Reg 2013 for more amount than a mid 2013 year car.

In my opinion: go for it instead of paying much more own amount than future resale value.

It is a waste of money. The sunvisors they offer are without chrome strip and looks wierd as it hides the chrome above doors. The matts are not worth the price and better matts are available in market. In short if you buy the same best quality maybe better quality items from market including sunvisors with chrome edge your total expense would be: Matts 1500 Sunvisors 3500 and trunk tray 1500 meaning 6500 and the products would be a step above than what their utility package offers.

Navigation is a must. Try avoiding leather package as better quality after market as you can see on my thread is 1/4th the price. Even Honda isn't offering full leather its a blend but still they have poor stitching and visual quality. Get 4 years warranty as well. Avoid leather and utility package.

Sorry bro no idea for Islamabad. I think @ak471 knows about one in F-10

Everything available at Montgomery road Lahore. And not oem but equally good quality for sunvisors which have the chrome lining too that gets hidden in case of Honda offered ones. Interior matts are even better though the trunk tray is so so but serves the purpose
