Looking to buy Civic X in Islamabad 2017-2018 model, want turbo but I’ll settle for 1.8 if it’s in great condition but I’m afraid of knocking issues , steering issues, ac and battery and general low quality might not last long time.

On the contrary Civic X is everywhere and looks good on the road, my budget is in 3mil range if any one can help clarify the above concerns and possibly refer a good car would be highly appreciated.

Hard to find a 2017-18 in 3M - next to impossible for a clean turbo. Reasonably priced maintained vehicles get sold within hours as per my experience.

Turbo all the way but you have to increase budget to 34-35.

No knocking issue. Steering rack can happen any time. You can get it inspected at 3S . Or find the one in which it has been replaced.

Yes I meant range in 3mil but all ads here for turbo start from 3.7 for 2016 and 3.6-3.8 for Oriel , it’s more than the market value and only few hundred thousand diff from the new. Is there an authentic seller / car available within 3.5mil ?

You are absolutely right. I was just going to put these 18" but friends stopped me coz the ride on Lahori roads and pot holes not being repaired timely in Pti govt will ruin the drive.

Car demand for Turbo has increased within last 02 months . But if you negotiate, you may be able to get it around 35. If car is well maintained then spendingn1lac more may be acceptable

In ur budget 1.8 is good option.Keeping turbo one will be expensive.Also resale of 1.8 is better than turbo one

Go for late 2018 or 2019 model for oriel to avoid any issues plus it will be in warranty for sometime

Go for what your heart says and budget allows. Resale is not that much a big issue for Turbo now.
You can get same year Model Turbo lesser than same oriel.

I have 2 friends shifted from Oriels they drove till 40k and 70k kms to Turbos one 39k and other 77k driven and its around 3 to 6 months since they owned it and have no regrets so far. Rather more happy.

A clean Turbo you can easily get in between 32 to 33. Whereas same model Oriel is between 34 to 35.

I have now 3 aquantances / friends running their Turbo Civics on PSO Regular fuel with satisfactory performance.

Now with the upgraded fuel which is mmt free being Euro 5 Compliant Regular RON 92, there is no problem in keeping any Turbo Charged engine car.

Both at intinal stage it gives jerks while turning or at the time of line change .

AoA respected members. I have bought Civic VTEC Turbo 2016. All is good however I have noticed that there is engine knock on acceleration and higher speeds. Please advise what should I do? Furthermore please shed some light about petrol and maintenance schedule.

Get if checked fir software update as previous owner might not have updated the software.

Use petrol from reliable pump. You can use Hioctane mixed with regular for 1-2 tanks.
