Honda guy said that life of CVT is 3/4 years which my car has crossed. So it’s advisable.

I consulted from other honda owners and even this forum and got suggestion to get it changed.

Btw, the issue shared is before that change so no improvement as such.

Got my car full inspected today from honda sh-e-faisal and as per them, car is all good.

Will visit other 3S dealer to get second opinion. Any recommendations on 3s dealer in karachi to visit will be appreciated.

You can try Honda Drive-In or Defence. Both are also good.
Honda SITE is very good but a bit far, depending on where you are located.
May have been asked before but have you tried another oriel to see if it has the same behaviour that you are facing?

I think you are being skeptical as 02 dealerships have informed you that everything is normal.

I would advise you to continue using it and don't fiddle unnecessarily

AA, Kindly suggest possible replacements for windshield wipers. The rubber on mine is damaged significantly. Are OEM the only good option or other solutions such as rubber replacement a reasonable option as well? I was checking Maximus silicon wiper blades as well. Are they any good?

Replace rubbers and if it doesn't improve, then get complete set replaced

Hi Everyone ,
I'm a prospective Civic Turbo owner and I had a few questions regarding the car.
I'm getting a 53k driven , 2016 Turbo which has been maintained throughout by the Honda Dealership in my city. Since I've kept a Civic 1.8 oriel ,

1. I wanted to know how different is Turbo's maintenance as compared to a 1.8 oriel ?

2. would it be a reliable daily driver ?

3. If I decide to sell the car after 2-3 years would resale be an issue?

I would highly appreciate everyone's response regarding these queries.

Maintenance is same.

Yes it is reliable for daily runner

No. It has its own market and sells reasonably well

Hello, I got a 37K driven 2018 Oriel yesterday. I have another oriel (2017) in my office with a colleague. I noticed that when I start his car up, the sound is a bit like a conventional starter motor and then the engine comes alive. However, when I start my car, there is a strange boom at startup. It is difficult to explain but it sounds like I am starting a sports car. Not that I mind this , but of course I understand that there should be no difference in startup sounds between the two cars.
Once started, both sound more or less the same.
What kind of a problem could it be?

Something like problem in starter motor relay (Bendus) or belts,belt adjuster related.
Check Starter motor 1st from a good auto electrician.

Hey everyone just a theoretical question, how much would it realistically cost to convert a 1.8 Oriel to a Turbo (not RS) properly. yes i understand that its obviously financially smarter to sell and buy a turbo instead but just asking a question

Availability of L15B7 in 1.5T would be the first problem.

TURBO engine alone cost would be enough to go for factory Turbo
