I've been following this thread somewhat. So there have been some posts where people have recommended taking some precautions to ensure the health of a turbo engine e.g. not shutting down the car immediately and letting it idle for a while. This car will primarily be used by my parents, I don't think they'll be comfortable with this requirement.
Yes, the better fuel economy with better torque is something that adds to ease of driving for parents, allowing for easier/hassle free overtakes.
I've some confusion about the fuel usage. Some claim that you still need to mix hi-octane. While may others have also stated that you can use regular fuel 100% of the time without an issue. If you could share your thoughts on this.
And we've a budget of about 35 lac. Is it enough for a well maintained turbo? Just checking now could hardly find a good one on pakwheels.
