Guys can anyone advise on seat comfort. From experience of installing extra foam in seat covers is it worth it over the original leather ones in terms of seat comfort ? can anyone share what has they done

I have added a 0.5” soft foam layer along with soft leatheritte on my seats. But on fabric seats not on leather. Same can be done with leather too.

But the 2 important things are
1. Selection of good quality soft leatheritte
2. Not too tight covers

Cheap leatheritte will be hard and also if the covers are too tight which most poshish guys do, it becomes hard as it looses its elasticity after being stretched so tight.

Don't even bother.
I have both,
Honda has garbage seats, horrible sitting possible, extremely laggy cvt, you floor it and after 2 seconds the car is like "oh you did something let me respond"
Grande is pure reliability, goto car for all places and all terrains. Ordinary minded people consider honda as a merc/bmw here and consider it superior where as there's nothing like it.

And as per the issues you forgot to mention the fuel pump issue, 0 meter car owners are facing it too till date.
Nothing is resolved.
Grande had nil issues till date since launch.
Civic has had like dozens.
My advice is to wait for an year and half for the next gen.

How much you aksing for Grande bro? I was personally thinking of upgrading from Altis 1.6 2016 to Civic X, but after reading so many issues with it, I think I'll stick to Corolla.

Civic is mainly sold due to its sporty shape and better interior
Although grande also has a issue which is the passenger seat vibrates when it is empty even if youre driving on a motorway
At the end its all personal choice
A person who can afford a 4.5million car can also pay to repair some of its fault which mostly are resolved in facelift

Michelin is best sidewall is a littlebit weak u have to take care for rough driving
Continental is second best will adjust in all conditions
Recently installed uc6 continental in my car for 88k 2021

My experience on Civic X is with Continental UC6 and Pirelli P7 (earlier used Yokohama C Drive which is now not available so won’t compare that)

UC6 has a slightly better drive in terms of grip but P7 has slightly better comfort so as per your preference I would recommend either of these as per my personal experience. But overall both are good

Michelin primacy 4, if you are able to get fresh stock from authorized Michelin dealer.

In the end it is a personal preference. If you ask for advice, people usually lean towards the brands they had better experience with.
