Get it painted. I also had same experience and unfortunately repair and paint is only option.

So I went till Khunjerab Pass on my 1.5T. Coolant and oil were fine before I left. About 1200km of the trip went fine. Except when I was coming back from Hunza and on Babusar Top, the car started to overheat. The temperature guage started reaching the 60% mark on steep inclines. I managed to keep it to 50% by keeping a very light foot, but a little more and it was going beyond.
The rest of the trip till Islamabad went fine with no issues. I didn’t notice any coolant leak or anything like this. What could be the reason? The only one I can think of is that from Gilgit to Babusar I was driving non-stop and was pushing the car hard on some occasions.

Strange.Did u notice coolant reduction after the trip.Maybe radiator cap is the culprit.My friend's civic 2017 once overheated and radiator leakage was the reason.

My civic x is being driven more than 4000km since last oil change.
Should i change my car oil now ??
and secondly my car's total mileage by now is 13,000km (ODO) what other maintainance it needs now like plugs change etc??
My car is giving me 8.2 to 8.3 average in karachi city...what could b the reason???

5w30 fully synthetic from any good brand.Change after 7,000 kms.At every 40k kms change the cvt fluid.For fuel average get it tunned properly.

Get oil changed every 5000 km Total Quartz Synthetic or Havoline preferably 5w30 if its 1.8. 13,000 km is not much, just check brake pads, spark plugs cleaning, tuning etc. 8.2-8.3 is fine as Karachi has very congested stop and go traffic, though some general maintainance or tuning might improve it. My civic X 1.8 is giving me 12.5 Km/l according to meter in Peshawar city with less traffic and more constant speed.

i normally get 10 and my foot is heavy in karachi city drive. If you are driving in busy timings n heavy traffic then this is ok.

As per Honda recommendation oil change should occur at 5000kms or 3 months whichever came first im following the same n using Honda oil since due to WFH drive is less so only 3k in 3 months

Put some hi octane 25% and check air filter hopefully this will solve the issue. For karachi my filter was chocked at 8k and it makes huge difference when you change in pick n avg

Pushing the car hard on that stretch (Chilas-Babusar Top) is a sure shot guarantee your car will over heat.

It doesnt matter what car (New/Old/Dinky/SUV) you are driving.
