guys how can we know that the steering rack has malfunctioned? On low speeds when I turn the car I hear low tuk tuk noise but it isn't there when car is parked or when turning at high speeds.

my Oriel is 2017 model and 27k driven.

Your steering rack has malfunctioned. That’s exactly how it behaves when it malfunctions. Low tik tik sound on slow turns and no sound when parked or at high speeds.

It should give you some stuck behaviour in slow speed.

If in doubt, get it checked from 3S .

Veteran of 2 faulty steering racks here....drive the car for about 20 to 30 mins....it becomes more prominent after some use. Then stop the car, full steering lock towards either side one by one. Either you will hear a slight sound when you reach the end or the steering will sort of have feedback and will try to return to central position...slight movement of the car, forward or reverse like this will make it more pronounced...
Honda warranty claim is lodged by testing the rack in static environment mostly....hope this helps.

I was on the way to nathiagali … the sound got louder when driving on murree expressway that’s where i was sure that rack is faulty.

Daewoo dry battery is the best

well replaced with same hybrid one. but come to know it has 1 year warranty. battery is in warrant so will go to dealership to claim. have you experience wit Daewoo dry battery.

bhai plug 60k k baad change hoty hain. periodic maintenance book lay lo. i bought in 22k for fifty thousand km. i usually get mileage 17 to 19km/liter and in city about 12km/liter i usually used soft paddle. Avg usually get better with kilos. i will recommend to get to any 3s if you aint experience.

Guys I am feeling slight jerk in shifting of gears at low speed / in city (noticeable when AC is on) which was not in past. My Oriel is 2017 40K on odo, got CVT oil changed on 35 k as per time period. Any idea? my car is kept with utmost care and single owner,

The jerk is of AC compressor. I don’t know how atlas programmed it but upon acceleration the compressor turns on and causes the jerk and car also feels sluggish and this specially is felt at slow speeds. I really don’t like this in oriel. I don’t think this has anything related to CVT. Your car is fine.
