I think that screen fitment and size of TW unit supplied from factory is much better and perfectly adjusts with the dashboard.

True, in terms of fitting and looks its the best. When I bought my 2nd X it had basic unit. After exploring all options I ultimately went for original TW unit. For me even purpose wise its best, I probably mentioned earlier as well that I only need it for reverse cam and Bluetooth which it does absolutely perfectly

Maybe not acceptable for many people but for my taste and requirements the audio quality is also just right. Not a fan of super high volumes or bass tubes so the stock system is perfectly fine for me once you adjust levels

You can either go for looks or quality sound.
Those crappy Chinese panels do look good with all the snug fit and blends well but if you really know and want quality sound output then these Chinese panels don't do justice.

I was talking about the OEM TW unit. I agree, the sound system is very nominal but i cannot compromise on looks unfortunately and hence for me this TW unit is the best for civic.

What I meant to say was that the quality and the look of the dashboard of a 660cc car is not that good and this head unit that you have fitted, makes the dashboard of civic x look more like a cheap low-end car's dashboard. Once again, I am sorry if you did not like what I said. I do apologize.

Bro im using VEURO 303 Dunlop same oem size
Since i bought in mid 2020 so dont have much options due to covid and others were of old manufacturing date. The ride quality is changed and pretty much satisfied with the decision i made. Although not a fan of dunlop but this japnese one is much superior to other dunlop available.
As per reviews UC 6 continental, pirelli p7, michellin primacy 4 are some good options.

It has built in wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I absolutely love it.

Of course the OEM unit will fit better since it’s designed from the ground up to fit in this car while this Pioneer unit is a one-size-fits-all solution. But true wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, not to mention rock solid BT connectivity, I’m willing to sacrifice some looks for it.

Okay the OEM fitting does look better. But this isn't half bad. It looks nice to me hideous is not an adjective that I'll be willing to use here. For me it's a minor sacrifice compared to the OEM unit and no eyesore at all. Minor sacrifice for quite a performance? All day every day! However, the electrical warranty part associated to the OEM unit is something that cannot be ignored at all.

True, I am using AVH-9250 since two years and Carplay and AA is Love...

Difference in looks is minimal if branded unit is installed properly by an expert as even TW unit have a ugly slot of CD on top etc. Best looks are offered by only Android 9" display HU but with X interior design they bring a problem of blocking some AC vents. Everything have gain and lose so it depends on personal preference.

We booked our oriel on Friday and while I was going through the price list which was given to me by the 'assistant manager sales and marketing' at Honda point, I noticed something in that price list. Under the price of Civic Oriel, its features were mentioned and one feature caught my attention. 'Walk-away locking' was listed as the feature of Civic Oriel. I never knew PKDM had this feature. Is this something new for the facelift variant?

Are they referring to the automatic locking of car if you dont open any doors after unlocking it with the remote for some seconds?

No they mean that your car will lock when you walk away with the key fob
