A used Hardtop Civic X is great value for money provided you buy it 3-4 lakh cheaper than an exactly similar condition and Mileage Oriel of same year. If the difference of a similar Oriel is less than 2.5 lakhs then better get Oriel instead.
You can add following to a Hardtop
1. Cruise, absolutely plug and play. Cost 8-10
2. Fog lights, DLAA type good company. Cost 6-8
3. Alloys, used original from Oriel. Cost 30-35
So all depends on price. In 2017 a brand new HT was only 1.5 lakh less than Oriel only and those are selling at a bigger gap now with the same philosophy that people want an Oriel so now that loss on resale has already been taken by first owner on a Hardtop. On a lower price you won’t face much depriciation with a Hardtop in future as well. A company maintained low mileage used 2017 Hardtop will be much much much cheaper than a 2021 rather 2022 delivery (if you book) Honda City 1.5 which also doesn’t have a sunroof and that City will cost more than 34 after taxes, registration and tyre change.
