Its not due on 40 k it depend on pad quality and on driving style i got a used car and pads were finished and scratching the discs

My front pads are also scratching the disks all of a sudden.
Could you recomend best place for replacing the pads?
Any idea how much the front and rear pads cost?

Has anyone changed their CVT gear oil after 40,000 km? I've seen a couple of cases where changing the fluid causes failure and that too from dealership. The car is at 47k km so do I change it or let it continue?

It's either 40k or 2 years, which ever is earlier. I have changed twice so far and no issue experienced.
Highly recommended to change....my car is used very less and I changed at 2 year mark twice with around 19k mileage per change....cvt oil was very dirty both times....you get to see the difference when the pour the new oil in.

Front and rear both genuine will cost u around 30k
U can go to ghazi autos dha
Arshad autos ayesha manzil
Or car wheels at gulistan e jauhar
Jamil autos is also on list but not experienced yet

I changed on 31000 km as it was4 years old then max u have to change on every 40 50 k or after every 2 year max which ever come first
2 year is mine opinion experts recommend 1.5 year max

Wanted to ask that if putting hioctane in 1.8 really helps or it is just waste of money. As i fill hioctane after every 2 refills.

1.8 doesn't require hioctane but it give slightly better mileage and pick is better

Regular fuel wouldn't have any negative issue for 1.8.

You may continue the practice or use regular as it suits you.

Absolutely right.No need to put HiOctane in Oriel 1.8.Not even mixture of the two.

Hello Everyone! I've booked CIVIC X ORIEL for JAN 2022.I'm shifting from Grande FL.The only reason i chose civic was my budget of 41 and i didn't want to buy another grande. After some posts of transmission failures and other faults i'm getting very double minded that i've made a mistake.Users of CIVIC X please guide that should i keep it or cancel my booking?
Also let me know how was you overall experience?
And how well Civic X performs in resale market!

No need to cancel booking.I am using 2020 facelift not even a single fault.going flawless uptil now.Whenever your car is delivered,do one thing change your tyres asap for increased road comfort.

There is only one case of transmission failure which may be due to some undue maintenance or other things that we don't know.

There are no issues and if any issue arise, it isncoveres in warranty as well . car is in market and people are buying it.

This is owners forum where people like to discuss every minute detail .
