Well, regarding the missing controller issue, I contacted the dealership and I was informed that on the day I received my car, the dealership did not have any remote but now they have restocked it and I can get it from them. My question here is that isn't the controller suppose to come with the car from the factory?

It cannot be updated. Factory reset should have helped otherwise warranty

I did a factory reset and now Tracker World Offline maps are gone. Any leads on how to restore those now?

go to factory setting and enter PIN 7253 if model is 2019 and beyond, select 3rd part apps and TWMpas. you will be able to see maps, else call on this no 0342-1117690 (umer), if he asks you who gave tell them helpline personal has given it,

He will we able to fix maps issue or may guide you

The auto industry in Pakistan is an inelastic market. 11th gen Civic will probably launch at around 5.5m. Was hoping the entry of new manufacturers would change the elasticity of this market but unfortunately, they too have kept the supply low, maintaining the inelastic demand for vehicles in this country. The only way things can change here is an open and liberal vehicle import policy, as long as the focus remains on CKD only prices will continue rising.

Pathetic Quality of Civic X.
This is regarding the car's AC related issue that is quite common for 2016 - 2020 civic models. This has been an issue that Honda has faced globally, and in most countries they have offered extended warranty for this particular issue. For example, in America, they have offered 10 years warranty for any issue related to car's AC. In Pakistan, they are charging customers (after warranty) approx 50,000 k to 75,000 k to fix this issue as they have only extended warranty by 1 year for this issue that has been caused by their incompetence. Has any 1 from this group adopted a course of action which has helped him or her in resolving this issue? Should there be a joint approach in dealing with the quality issues of Honda Pakistan ?

Issues remained till 2018 end i guess. I have yet to see any FL with issues so far. One good thing is now they offer 3 yr warranty atleast. They should have given warranty extension to all customers.. since ac and steering both were common issues worldwide in initial batches
