My 2021 Civic's dry battery (70L) is drained and needs replacing. It lasted about 1.5 years. Is this typical for a dry battery in a Civic? I used the same type of battery (50L) in my Honda City for nearly 3 years without any problems.

Hi i have 2016 rs turbo and recently it has started making a weird humming sound upon accelerating either in drive or neutral (between 1200 to 2000rpm)

I would recommend Daewoo maintenance free battery DLS65. Mine lasted for almost 3.5 years. Just changed yesterday with same battery model.

AOA. was this issue resolved? i bought the car 1.5 years ago, i have changed the tensioner several times but never bought the OEM one. and the issue never resolved. i have spent so much on my car that i dont want to change it. but this noise is really annoying... it only happnes between 1500-2000rpm only on light foot. never happend when i push the car harder. and after around 2200 rpms the noise just disapeared. Please if this was the same issue happened to you and you have resolved it, please let me know. i really want that noise go away... and none of the mechanics understanding or have same statements. some say compressor issue, some say tensioner issue, some say engine mount issue. i cant change all of them. here is my email appleidpj368@gmail.com and whatsapp 03167678576. please your help will be really appreciated. thank you.

The quality isnt the same what they sold 4-5 years back. Last one only lasted 13 months, never buying daewoo again.

Will buy again.

Or any other reputed maintenance free battery will also do.

Hi. I have been told by a friend that addind slick 50 engine cleaner after oil change improves the car's engine performance by a lot. He said and I quote, ' meri 1.8 NA turbo bungayi thii.' He has used slick 50 in his civic and mg and both perform better than usual. Slick 50 basically cleans the engine. I am thinking of trying it. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Your friend is talking crap. If you are using good quality engine oil and changing it on regular intervals there should be little to no sludge build up and oil treatment wont give you any significant performance gains.

I recommend not tampering with your engine if it is performing well. Stick to the recommended engine oil and follow the maintenance guidelines in the user manual.

What is the cost of Honda Civic X CVT Oil and Brake discs from Honda? Any body got these replaced recently?

I replaced CVT Oil in Nov'23 and it cost me around 12000/- now it must be around 13-14K. Not sure about the brake discs as mine was fine and no need to replace at 40K millage

Remove battery terminal, rsconnect after 10 min. Drive for 30 min
