Here's a daylight picture of the system installed by JDM experts that they sent me. I am myself in a fix whether i should go for factory fitted or this one. The aftermarket one sure has superior features when compared to Honda's crap. The only downside i can think about it is that it will make the warranty void but if its a grip to grip fitting, than i guess we can keep the OEM player and if any fault occurs, we can fix the old one back and claim warranty.

The other reason about having an aftermarket system affecting resale is just a far cry.

There still would be a hole in the rear garnish for aftermarket camera and the current wire they will draw from somewhere to power that camera.

They will definitely cut the reverse light wire in the trunk to program the cam for switching On upon reverse gear. Not to mention all the door sills on any one side and rear seat needs removal for taking the feed from unit to camera as well. It isn't as simple as they will make it sound to sell their aftermarket system.

Buddy he means that the new system introduced with the oriel 10th gen after then 9th gen, by tracking world. I use it a lot and it sure is a charm to operate as it's very very smooth.

When did u book? Is it oriel or turbo?

Booked a M Steel Oriel with Nav and extended warranty in start of September. Website says latest delivery before 31st Jan but the dealership told me they will start getting new Civic shipments from 12 Jan. So expected mid or last quarter Jan.

Another downside is that it is made for left hand drive vehicles. All the controls are on left of screen which would require you to extend hand and definitely would require extra glance while driving.

Also, this navigation wouldn't earn its price of 45k while selling. Whereas asli navigation wali car would go 70k higher in resale.

In my opinion, factory fitted serves the purpose well.

My gripes with this unit :

1. All the buttons are on the left.
2. The screen seems to be covering some portion of the AC vents ( pointing this out in terms of looks, obviously wont have an effect on the AC performance).
3. It seems really out of place because of the huge size...it seems really out of place and doesn't match the interior scheme ,hence proving "bigger isn't always better"..

Aoa everyone please suggest me should I go for turbo or oriel I m so confused and will be spending my whole life saving and I know I will not be able buy again such an expensive car I m confused coz of fuel problems but have a craving for the turbo. I had previously cL 7 and sold it and now I m missing it badly please need honest opinions

Just watched pakwheels video on youtube about exterior & interior issues.I really like Civic Turbo. Going through 3K posts is a hefty task.

Especially cuz of those two silencers(idk if it is a proper word for them in cars section)

Is VTEC Turbo a good car? and what are the expectations from Civic 2017 Hatchback Sport?

No worries buddy. Any time.

Yes Civic Turbo is an exceptional machine, however the same cannot be said about Honda Atlas and their profit making dumb techniques. There are certain cosmetic as well as Navigation Unit issues with the turbo variant however overall it's a very good car.

As for the hatchback, I highly doubt it will ever make it to the Pakistani market as it never has earlier so it definitely won't come now. Neither did we ever have any SI models offered so we will just have the basic civic variants here.
