So called Honda Head office to check with them about the delivery of my car, they guy said that its due in feb (it is still showing 31st march on the portal tho) and you should make the balance payment asap, whereas dealership didnt know sh*t about the delivery of my car and said the same that make the balance payment. Do the customer have to inquire and check on with the factory for the delivery ? i mean what the dealerships are doing?
Anyways will be making the balance payment asap. fingers crossed.

As far as i know dealers cant take full balance payment prior asking of Honda factory....if head office (factory) haven't sent your dealer the balance payment list, dealer cant take it from you by themselves.

I suggest reconfirm this before paying full amount.....i seriously doubt if full payment will make the delivery earlier...coz ultimately you are in the hands of dealer currently...

ATlas and dealership both are asking to make the full payment, ive got no reason left not to make the balance payment. you are absolutely right about being in the hands of dealership but in the end i have to make the payment

Yupp u r right bro but as you said that the dealer didnt know sh... about the delivery of your car....i mean i dont what kind of dealer they are....dont they have any authentic news of full payment??....if customer is saying that atlas is asking for full payment they would agree on that....thats it???......

suggestion was given considering that it might be possible that even after taking full payment from you they deliver the car in the end of March...so if this is going to happen why would you block your money then?....

No wonder their stock price increasing by 60% since launch of Honda Civic last year!

Went to Honda Classic (Islamabad) today....They told me to make my final payment on 16th Feb regardless whether I receive a call or not.. ( Car's delivery is in March )...

I have booked oriel in last week of December from Honda city Sales Lahore for which the tentative delivery date is 31st May. Later on i changed my mind and made additional payment of 250K (total paid now 1500K) in first week of January to change it to turbo.
I am making the balance payment now in a day or two... I have some questions and doubts i.e.

1- Whether i may be able to get delivery of the vehicle in Feb,,,as dealer response is not too convincing..Female Sale executives are MashAllah...what to say about them
2- Engine ticking noise, infotainment system and the suspension are addressed in coming Turo or the problem still exists?

Don't get confused....just go what you have decided ...trust me you would not repent....and if you really want people stop and look at you....you have staring looks then go for Rally Red....ultimate color...I am really enjoying peoples admiring comments..actually White and Grey color are so many and when I take out my shinning Red out people just give me thumb up....I was also in same shoes as you are now...first either I go to Oriel or Turbo then I decided for Turbo that was one of best decision of my life .....I am mature family person...racing doesn't suits me ...I took that for my own pleasure....so alone I went on motorway and I was proud on my decision....vehicle was so impulsive really enjoyable .. then for color had many nights late thinking either silver or Red and then took Red....and again whoever sees that he says funtastic.....Turbo in Red

Delivery of 2017 cars have already started. Last fri, I was at a dealership at Lahore and two 1.8 Oriels were to customers.

So I guess I should change oil regardless of the KM, if 3 months have passed. Anyone else faced this dilemma (KM not due, but time of 3 months passed for oil change)?

Also what about Oil filter? Is it better to change with every oil change at 3 months/5000 KM or wait for 6 months/10,000KM as written in manual?

Been waiting since the 22nd of August, while the website says 31st Jan, the dealer keeps stalling. Its just sad, the way customers are treated. Lied to, again and again and again.

On the other hand, a friend of mine used a 'parchi' and got an Oriel in 15 days.
