My case is different. Its from the very beginning as I booked on the very morning of 6th June when bookings opened the first time and I got delivery right after launch: 31st July 2016 though I picked it on 5th August because I drive a car only after insurance and registration.

Can you correct me if turbo works through out the engine running or there is some limit to bring it in circuit as you told about 4000rpm? R u sure about that? Because according to my understanding it is not a parallel system with engine like hybrids who work at according to their defined limit and beyond that they start to share engine but in the case of turbo the turbo charger is installed on the intake of engine and engine can't bypass that turbo charge to take air directly even at 1k rpm so how could you say that turbo works over 4krpm? And the last thing that support my confusion is that honda itself claim that turbo gives maximum torque and power at 1700 rpm so how is it possible if turbo do not work under 4k rpm?

When ever you push engine Turbo is engaged , if you drive with slow acceleration then Turbo is not engaged. Once you push it you can hear rotary sound

I dont know bro but as per my knowledge Turbo is attached and driven with the exhaust of the engine it doesnt have any kind of engaging and disengaging mechanism...so whenever the engine starts Turbo also starts....like Khurramchauhdry said.....atleast in big heavy diesel engines it works like that..em 200% sure about that....

I appreciate your reply but still confused about that. Actually I want to buy a Turbo only if it works like you are saying because my 90% use is in city under 50km/l speed so a 1500cc earth dream engine is enough for me and better than oriel but if it always on turbo than I will prefer 1.8 orial over this turbo which is equall to a 2.4l engine. I asked same to the technical staff at dealership but no one knows if it always a Turbo or just on need. Let's hope May someone technically or logically clarify it here.

Yes turbo is engaged all the time but below 1700 or 2000 (dont know exact rpm) the effect of turbo is negligible because there r not enough exhaust gases to make the turbo spin fast so when driving economically within city like u said at 50km/h, it would have the consumption of a 1.5L engine but when u floor it or put it in S and the rpm rises, the turbo starts to spin faster and u get that high torque (fuel economy will go down significantly to provide that power)

Turbo is always connected but under 4000rpm there is not enought exhaust pressure to move the turbo fast so it doesn't affect the engine. drive smoothly and you have 1.5l engine economy. Drive aggressive and you have thrills

Its a one day process, but try to find someone who has been through this rut. Otherwise u may face hurdles to clear different steps. I didn't go myself so can not comment on best time to visit. Original plates are at Islamabad and I am away from Islamabad for some time.

One word....just buy turbo....you would really have fun and thrill...I really enjoy when I just push and car equally responds me.....in Turbo your courage is limiting factor....otherwise car will not disappoint you..whatsoever....press accelator and see your speed you would be 100+...

With shell v power its 13.5-14 on highway( lhr multan)
With total hi octane its 12.5-13 on highway(lhr multan)
Local its around 11 on total and 12-12.5 on shell
