Members with delivery dates of turbo in feb or march, do you guys have any update regarding your car's delivery? Because today i got to know from honda head office that there is no production of turbo scheduled for whole month of April and people waiting for their cars should expect them in May and June.

I am afraid that's how the delays would carry on to build up. I was expecting mine this month and now according to them i should wait till May. Can any member confirm this news?

Any one specially from isb/rwp with oriel delivery date of 31 March has received his car lately?
I have booked from Honda center rawalpindi. Until now every time I ask them about the status they ask me to check next week. I don't think the way they respond I will,get the car by 31 March.

Any one else here going through similar waiting scenario? To me it looks they are just buying time till 31st after that they will start giving different excuses.

Don't Know about oriel but awaiting my turbo with delivery date of 31st March. Booked through Honda Avenue, Islamabad and after having asked them about when to expect the car delivery, they have unfolded a rather very disappointing situation and told me that they have customers waiting for Civic turbo deliveries with due dates of 28 February and still Atlas has not dispatched the cars as there was some sort of delay in Civic's production process due to some reason which they either don't know or reluctant to disclose.( IMHO that is most probably due to some supply chain issues or possibly due to poor production speed as they have to cater for several different variants over the same single assembly line and also there are rumours about some technical issues being taken care of with the help of foreign engineers and turbo engine being fine tuned). Anyways no one knows for sure why the delay is for but one thing is for sure Atlas is not able to keep up with the current demand and since it is doing nothing to build up it's production capacity so it's only making things worse.

Dealership also told me that they are expecting the cars to be despatched by the end of this month and deliveries possible in early April, but again that is just their guess work and nothing is for sure until and unless they receive a despatch note confirmation from the Atlas.

I think oriel is no exception to that and it has been a victim of Atlas's poor production speed as they are now even in the process of BRV production on the current assembly line which is only making things worse for the customers who have paid in full and already waiting since months and as they say " Aagay dorr aur peechay chorr" I think atlas is doing the same with its customers by just making more and more money and not delivering in time.

Let's hope for the best that we all get our rides in time. Insha Allah !!!

There is an issue with the Turbo variant that is creating the knocking sound problem. There is a part that needs to be upgraded which is why there is a delay. Current owners may also expect a recall.

This is all told by salespersons to satisfy the waiting owners.

Actual delay is due to non availability of Turbo kits and all these delays and timelines of extended time for all Honda variants is supply chain issue mainly that is coupled with dealership- investor partnership

My turbo tentative date was 28 Feb, I received on 7th March.
So far haven't encountered any problem with multimedia or ticking noise.
Driven approx. 900 Km due for first check up next week.

Well if it's true then this is a very bad news indeed. Mine is due on 31st March but after having called the dealership several times there's still no good news.
Lets hope for the best.

Yes this is being rumoured a lot but do you have any reliable source of this info ?

I think they managed to get you one from some old stock, well that's very lucky of you.

Sorry, don't know about the cost. But i can tell you, it'd be bery expensive. The question is, is it operating lease or finance lease? I think bank is not supposed to have your second key. We once leased a car which was also a civic, but we got both keys
