No issue at all....just once experienced that reverse camera screen not showing when i put my car in reverse gear....but it got ok when i reset the system....other than that not a single issue..alhamdolillah...

Anyone experiencing steering issues? Recently I have noticed that a full anticlockwise seems fine but a full clockwise turn (car turning right) there is a strange noise from the steering just before the turning limit. It stops when you hold the steering at max turn but if you hold just before the limit, there is this strange grinding noise and some steering feeback.
Anyone has any idea if this is normal and happening on their vehicles as well or is this some suspected issue?

Once in a blue moon and total about 5-6 times since August 2016, yes the screen did go blank. Audio works and to release it out of that blank mode either engage reverse gear or switching the car off and on again brings it back to normal.

i don't think so. to rest the system from top drop down menu you need to close all applications then it gets restarted & if even doesn't then do to reset button on lower right bottom with a pointed like thing like pencil

The blank screen I have experienced a couple of times simply goes away in my case as per how I described. Its not an assumption I made but what I have experienced. Never did reset my system ever in since I have the car from August last year.

Hello Civic X owners,

I need suggestions and idea to cover black colored plastic on and near door sills on front and back doors.

They get dusty very quickly while getting in and out of car due to shoes. With children it gets even worse.

Any idea what kind of protection can we apply there.

i m having this sound and i thought it was new tires but this annoying sound is still there, Sent to Honda but they said its sound from tire.

Yea it's annoying. Doesn't seem to be tyres though. Seems like some small gear type thing in steering column/wheel is not slotting in properly.

You can get it covered by a plastic sheet black colour installed using heat gun.

I have seen a person doing this from Shahid Autos to hit Turbo's panels

Should we use Hi octane 95 Ron in Oriel or it should be mixed with normal petrol? Is there any disadvantage using 95 Ron in 1.8 engine?

Manual says 88Ron or above. Experts plz reply?

No disadvantage. Advantages are better economy and less carbon emission.

There's a spray called Revive-All. It's local made, Kiwi Brand, very economical (approx Rs. 200). Thin medium bottle.
Keep a bottle and a micro-fiber cloth in car, or handy in garage. Every day or two, spray it and clean. It not only restores the original matte finish and black texture, it also removes tough marks and shoe-scratches.

Quick update on the steering issue. Apparently it's a fault with all civics. Tested around 12 cars at honda today and all of them had the same issue and was acknowledged and registered for further investigation by honda engineers. Pls do share your feedback with your respective dealerships as well so we may get a fix.
