Whoops, handle problem. The thing is, sometimes I also yank the handle but not because of sensor lacking to recognise my fingers inside the handle touching its back but there is a slight lag or delay of maybe split seconds and by the time it beeps handle has already been yanked. Then second time pulling opens it. So I have developed a habit of waiting half a second before pulling it.
The dot button is only for locking the car. If yanking many times still doesn't open the car that might be an issue with the system and needs to get checked or fingers placement should be roughly in the middle of the handle not on either edge or side.
There are a few more things every owner needs to keep in mind. My system once got stuck. Car locked and hazards light constantly ON like not flashing hazard but bulbs stayed ON. I tried unlocking and it didn't unlock, this happened while I had opened the trunk from door release, locked the car and when I shut the trunk, system got stuck. Tried remote buttons and passenger side handle as well but it stayed stuck. Failed to register anything, To release I then ejected the metal key from the fob and manually unlocked. It finally let itself free. Happened only once never again.
Also I have checked this, if you leave the fob in trunk by mistake, the trunk doesn't close shut. But that doesn't mean you get careless maybe this fail safe system doesn't respond sometimes and you get stuck.
