My car due on 31 july and I paid remaining amount today without registration charges but 75k withholding tax as filler was included in that amount. I mean I paid invoice + Navigation + fright + withholding tax.

I happened to book a Civic Turbo in February this year, with a delivery date as 31 July 2017. Meanwhile, we started getting news about 'tick tick' sound ( nocking ) from the engines of Turbo! Then came the stage when Honda started approaching Turbo customers, offering them to either change the variant to Oriel/BRV, or get refund!
I opted to downgrade to Oriel full option in April end. When Honda confirmed me the change, I paid full payment of Oriel as Honda committed to deliver the car within 30 days!
So it happened! I got my Civic Oriel Lunar Silver with Navi & Leather interior, on 26th May!
While I have been driving Oriel versions for the past decade, I had a plan to experience a Turbo. Nevertheless, this Oriel is also way too different from the previous ones.

Have started filling in the blanks of the ride. Trying to add grace and style, while avoiding abnormal show-off (ricing).
A complete plan includes:-

1. 5D matts with trunk tray
   

   

2. Leatherette Steering Cover
   

3. Rear Screen tint (15%)

4. Honda Window curtain screens
   

   

5. Sun visors with chrome
   

   

6. Rear bumper diffuser
   

7. 6-pc Modulo ABS plastic body kit
   

   

8. ABS Plastic trunk spoiler
   

   

9. Honda Si style mesh grille glossy black
   

   

10. Honda logo tire valve caps
    

11. Smoke paper on back lights (clear part only)

All electric work needs to be pended for at least 3-months, to ensure that there's no electrical problem in the car for which warranty is to be applied. After three months, i.e. in September this year, will go for following additions:-

1. HIDs (6000k) in all lights (High, low, fog), with instant-on HID in high beam
2. Civic illuminated door sills
3. Interior ambient lights (blue)

Glass coating of ride will be done after installation of all external accessories etc.
Will post original pics of my ride in couple of weeks after all work (less electrical) is complete.

Though its your decision but even after 3 months I would suggest don't fiddle or play with cutting or alteration of wiring of any sort specially HIDs. They draw extra current and result in heating up of oem wiring which can be cause of trouble as they are not designed to cater for extra current loads.

Secondly again a suggestion, instead of the cover on steering which gets lose after a certain period, why not Leather stitching? I was hating the urethane steering and went for it. Totally worth the effort, feels better to grip, looks better and doesn't tend to slip like those free covers do after some time.

Remaining items obviously are a personal taste.

Btw the Si grill and bumper also common with hatchback looks cool in my opinion and its available here

After 2 months of use (Drive 3000km+) (Avg mileage 12.5 km/liter) Glass coating keeping the shine of Turbo.... No Dry Dusting...not even Once..... Just Karcher Pressure and a 4 to 5 times Shampoo Washing..No Polish uptil now.......and Drive area is real dusty......

Tip: Dont Do Dry Dusting, even if its like dirt all on your car....swirls will not be found....

Please recommend any good leather stitcher for steering and good material? IN your pics....some areas on the lower left are showing visible elevations of stitching..why?

If you are referring to the steering stitching thats a typical stitch on all leather steerings. Runs all around the circumference on the inner ring.

You have shared some very good stitching pictures in recent post...What i was referring was after stiching there should no be elevations and depressions or they should be some minimal but in your case may be due to lighting effect it was more bumps sort....Anyway it would be good in real physical...From where you got it?

About the elevations they aren't exactly much there in reality. I got it done from Main Boulevard DHA Lahore. From my old poshish guy. Sharing contact incase you are also from Lahore, if not I guess anyone else from Lahore can use it.

@arsalanarahim For an extra 500 bucks he will disassemble the steering from your home, prepare it while the car stays parked and bring it back to fit once its done. However while fitting back you will need to carefully check the centre alignment. PM me your number when you plan to get it done. We can talk and I will guide you through the process.

Then I should go for the Advan dB perhaps?

After installation of the Michelins, I went back to the tire guy saying that these were still a bit noisy, He said I should have gone for the Advan dBs. He said they were much quieter. Price in Islamabad for both is the same.

Cost 2000+Additional 500 for doorstep service as the car needs to stay parked and vacant for 4-5 hours so I thought I'd rather let it stay parked at home.

Any Karachi Oriel owners who can share their registration cost? Please, if you can, mention if it is for filer or non filer, there is a slight difference. I want to compare it to what my bank is quoting me. Have had a bad experience with reg through bank previously.

If you are in Karachi, go to zafcom near the old submarine chauk. Meet Omer Bhai. You'll get a better price.
BG Luxo adjustment for 20k seems to be the going rate.

Received the delivery of Pearl White Oriel yesterday from Honda Gateway with my brother. Great design, good drive but pathetic QC and paint quality. I could see paint-chip-offs (small black spots) at various edges like front bumper, door edges, trunk edges,etc. Upon inquiry we were told that "Sir ye aise hi atay hain. Baqi cars me check karlen beshak", and other cars had these imperfections too.

These seat covers were available from honda gateway for 9500. Worth it? Or anyother option/place/suggestions?

Doesnt it mess up with the airbag or anything if the steering is detached?
