wat are u guys doing for the knock problem
as i visited honda workshop last week and saw more than a few cars with engines lying in the trunk
are u guys concerned about the problems ?? wat is reply given to u ??
just wondering wats the fate of a consumer in Pakistan who has spent hard earend 3 million plus PKR.

No knocking in my Turbo currently. Zero.

It started slight knock around 2000km mark which got worse around 3000km mark. Since then I've been using about 50:50 mix of Total regular and Total hi octane, from 2-3 specific pumps in Karachi. Now, just past the 5000km mark, after its first oil change, car is going great! I have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow, but right now its doing good.

I have put up a few posts earlier with regards to warranty claims and issues as the KMs mount up on the car. It is near 2000 km at the moment. Latest issue is a coolant leak from the radiator lower hose. This has been traced to a faulty hose pipe. I was informed that hose pipes of the car now made in Pakistan. The new hose is ordered and is expected to get here in a day or so. Will be surprised if it gets here on time. One of the black rubber molding strips on the roof has also been claimed under warranty a week ago but it has not arrived. There is a rattle from the front suspension that is yet to be investigated.

Most importantly the 3 lac 46 thousand refund from Atlas Honda (after changing from Turbo to Oriel) is now overdue. I was supposed to get it on the last Monday of May. I have been following up with Classic Honda Islamabad almost daily but beyond a pleasant smile I got nothing.

Got a call from city sales Lahore the car has been arrived after much effort and reference it was supposed to be on 31 july

More than the rate you need an insurance company that has Honda 3S on their panel. And if they have that's an unbelievably low rate. I would switch from TPL if so.

TPL is giving me 2.9 already. Means at next insurance renewal after 2 months if i threaten them they will offer the same rate. And advantage for me would be that they know me very well like the manager personally knows me and all my family friends and cousins are getting TPL through me so they won't annoy me at all for claims if needed God forbid. The same guy was at Chartis before TPL and he made me switch as Chartis winded up properly. He gave me smooth claims when needed.

Smooth claims is the main thing in insurance. And if you know someone that gets easy. If they don't drop percentage down I will shift to IGI

Try Askari as I am having Insurance at 2.6 and good in claims as well.

Hello everyone. I've gone with the Michelin Primacy 3. 225/55/16 from Germany. Haven't driven it much but the ride is pretty smooth. As for the insurance, I always get it done from United. They did at 2.75%. They have Honda Fort on their panel.

I need an advice.I have driven my turbo around 2200 in three months. Should I go for 5000km or three months check up? And should i go for oil change?

it's very important. in fact this battery dries up very quickely so needs frequent water relevelling. but we are habitual of getting it checked maybe after 3 or 4 months or on every 5000kms check up & even sometimes after 10000kms. i accidentaly once checked my battery water level. it was under the minimum level which i raised it up. after only 5 days i again checked & it again was reduced( not to previous level). so what i felt & am doing now, use to check my battery water level once every week. it dries up very quickely, don't know why but all owners should keep checking it atleast once in a month as against their previous routine. & everyone knows if battery dries, it's almost dead.

how do you check the battery water level ? the battery is enclosed with insulation and its not possible to see the level from side ways, how do you ensure the right level ?

Also let me know what tool you use to open the battery caps as its cap is different from regular batteries.
