Keep using w40 spray always after service bt rust is unavoidable in khi due to salty environmnt nd also do nt use service station which does nt have sweet water

How much would a 10k driven turbo fetch? Car is in great condition isb registered silver colour, coated, and well maintained, very minor scratches (only one mainly) due to normal every day use - I love the car but annoyed with the knocking issue... so was wondering if I want to sell it will I have a ready buyer? If it doesn't sell I suppose I'll just get it re-mapped from max power.

One of my friends in Karachi sold his 2016 Turbo driven around 5k for 31 lakh. But his car had add ons like mainly 17s and Body Kit.

Brother which fuel r u using ? It does knock but on normal not so good fuel but if u use total 97 Ron or Attock 97 Ron it works fine ... plus there is update coming for turbo so wait for atlas to do something rather than going for out of market stuff will void the warranty

Haha! Atlas! Bunch of crooks! When are they coming out with an update? Is there any timeline? God knows what is happening to the engine due to this knocking! Atlas will never fix it - any ethical manufacturer would've recalled and given the money back!

And I exclusively use total hi octane which they claim is 97 Ron but as it has been proved even our hi octane is barely 90 Ron

Try using Attock hi octane coz my turbo doesn't knock on Attock 97

As you can see in the attached, the "H" logo is taking the heat from the rust/ moisture Can I get a new one from outside? and how can I treat this? Because I think it can be cleaning regmall or something.

Clean it with WD40 or brake oil rust will gone away you can also find an even easier solution on YouTube.

I have read through knocking issue with some of our Pakwheels brothers...........CAN ANYBODY Explains at what times and in which driving conditions it knocks......like if you floor it in D.....You floor it in S......You floor it in D with Econ ON ...........You Floor it in S with Econ ON........... When U drive with Econ On or Off in D or S or with paddle shifters with half or quarter accelarator paddle depressed....................or when drive in D or S mode with ECON ON or OFF on normal touch torquey driving etc.....please can anybody explain........

Want to have precautions coz lets say u are going to multan then you might not be able to get high octane so i think driving the car in a normal way without pressing paddle to the metal should be fine..... isn't it...????

Actually i am inspired by the Owner of Honda Fort who used to come in his accord before and now from the last 1 year he is coming to office on his white Turbo using it as a daily day driver having not even a single issue........Car is Driven 28000 kms plus

Sir my uncle car also had this knocking but after changing the pump to total parco F-10 ,caltex f-6, attock h-8 or attock f-11 50 hobc and 50 regular petrol after 2-3 time refuel there is not a single knocking or we can say 0% knocking from last 2 months better try this before taking any steps.

I must say quite a bold decision in going for Turbo, with so much noise going around knocking issue.

i've a detailed observation regarding this as i've driven some 18000km & using same pump since the start n that's total, i felt it very rarely during first few months then during last month(april-may) i observed it the most. after mid may uptiil now didn't hear it anymore except yesterday. reason is i've personl relations at total & the guy at total told me that total is not producing its own petrol now coz their grade is 90 at the max which is not allowed to be sold. so all companies be it shell, pso or total are buying from pso in fact & there's noticeable variation in each delivery, which he showed me in the form of color difference of each deliveries sample(their normal routine to collect samples at each delivery). he was of the view that this RON 92 is not of good quality at current(consistent quality) combined with added adultrations by pump owners. his words seem accurate from the fact that out of total life my car(9months) i observed this problem in high frquency only during above mentioned time period & yesterday. means during these months that pump received worst quality of fuel which was improved in the time afterwards & yestarday i got new refill which showed that this time again quality is not upto mark. BTW i only use RON92, not higher grade. so one solution is to go to check for different companies & pumps & opt for one which shows no such signs. but i also observed that every pump makes adultartion & calibration downsliding atleast once per month. this i noticed very keenly for last few years. means no single pump is 100% reliable but one with lowest ratio of problem should be chosen for the future refilling.
it's the best solution.
