Em getting 5D floor matts in 8500...anybody here who uses 5D matts please advise do they really worth it?....i mean what about their handling...are they easy to remove and wash?.....

Alhumdulillah i dont have have any battery problem, knocking issue has been solved two months bak and i m very much happy with my civic nowadays. I live in Khi so no motorway or proper highway here.

i used to own 2011 civic reborn oriel manual, i never used HOBC only filled up 4-5 times in 5 yrs. HOBC only gave me better low end torque and fuel average improved but it was not worth it as another friend who also had oriel reborn manual but he used to filled HOBC only, we used to drag races a lot and everytime his loses by half or 1 car even by switching the drivers same results. My point is civic oriel was specially made to run on super fuel but if u think u will get more power by filling HOBC it wont help until u get to do reflash or tune it to squeeze out more power from Honda R18a or R18z. On the other hand civic turbo is completely different engine and its very sensitive on low fuel octane so its better to run on HOBC only and mixing also sometime help but i prefer HOBC only.

Bro civic oriel R18z compression is 10.6:1....its slightly high compression and even turbo civic engine L15b7 got 10.6:1 compression which is wat i blame on it for not running good on our local fuel, mostly turbo engine compression is lower than 10 like my A3 1.8T engine compression is 9.6:1 which is why i can tune more and run on more boost on HOBC.

You don't need hi octane fuel in oriel at all. In Pakistan people usually think hi octane is some magic petrol which will solve all problems in a car. The octane(Ron) value of petrol is simply the amount of compression it can withstand. Higher Ron means it can withstand higher compression.

Honda's R18 engine in oriel isn't a very high compression engine so it does not require hi octane fuel. It is always best to follow manufacturer recommendations when it comes to petrol. There is no point in going for a higher octane fuel than what the manual suggests, you'll just be wasting money on the higher priced petrol.

Yes you are right salik bhai. But hi octane (95 or 97) Ron isn't recommended on R18. It runs fine on super in my opinion

I completely agree with this observation. Like you said I also believe that 10:6 is too high for a turbo engine running Pakistani petrol. With the boost coming in and such a high ratio, the engine becomes very prone to knocking. The R18 gets away with the same compression ratio because its a NA engine.

That why new civic si 1.5T 6spd manual got 10.3 piston with different Td03 turbines and running on 18.5psi boost

Amen bro. This darn cvt is a crap transmission and the small quick spooling turbo with 10:6 compression on Desi fuel results in a very delicious recipe for knock. I remember Mark x had a compression ratio of 12:0 or something and mine ran smooth on super without ever knocking.

These mat look cool, i had the similar mat on my Thai Vigo which came with it from Thailand. In this pic the mat is going all the way to the back of the pedal wont be good idea if it blocking the accelerator pedal.

Hahaha can't have anything between the pedal and the floor. Won't be able to get 100% on throttle pedal and throttle plate

yea markx 250G with high 12.0 compression was shockingly high for our fuel but still it ran fine on super and even better on HOBC...those rpm limiter sound on HOBC was like ak47 Btw there's this guy in Lhr who is not happy with his modded white turbo civic, i heard hes running racechip with injen cold air intake, exhaust and intercooler. Is ur car running fine on 6+psi on hondata with all the bolt-on parts as civic turbo easily get heatsoak n loses the power.....also are u facing any knocking on custom hondata map?

My car was actually fastest with just racechip or hondata +6psi. I have injen SRI, intercooler and hks catback. I'm gonna remove the SRI and catback. Install prl high flow air filter in stock intake and prl catless downpipe with stock mufflers.
So far none of the bolt ons have made my car faster, in fact it is much slower after the bolt ons. But there isn't any knocking.
