1.75 Year usage review (stock Turbo).
Kilometers covered: 25900 km total city + highway (uptil Thandiani trip 1500km) combined.
Maintenance: 5 oil changes and 3 air filter change so far, brake pads service once, plugs inspected (partial still OK but will require change in 10 to 15K more )
Avg. KMPL: 13.5 to 14kmpl city, 17 to 19kmpl highway and northern (only Total Parco) (in start Total Hi Octane but petrol pump was very decieving mixing iranian oil, shifted to Company operated petrol pump)
Problems encountered :
Tyres have got stiffened up by time leading to minor wheel alignment issues (BG Luxo).
Just today got my 5th oil change and car feels back smooth
Inner door handles side edges have color vanished.(need suggestion for that)
Navigation system is OK, 3 times uptil now hanged. Had to reset by battery remove
Indoor dashboard color fades quickly, have to put shade + polishing after every 3 weeks or so
Engines takes alot of time to warm up on cold start as in Oriel
Remote start is an awesome feature, helps me a lot
The stifness of suspension, i hope to get it almost back when i shift to some good tyres in some months as i rarely pass at pot holes at high speed
The worst thing of this Civic X is AC, 9th generation was way cooler and awesome
No knocking from last 5 months, running at Total simple petrol but from company operated station
Verdict: The most phenomenol thing of Turbo, the acceleration at signals.....everyone is just looking. Yes the outer plastics color is degrading quite fastly, have to apply polish to retain it... keeping in view the inflation and escalated prices, turbo at 30.5 is good, hopefully it will be relaunched
