Does Honda company provide floor mats with new civic or it comes with just bare carpet ?

Yes, basic carpet type mats are provided. They may look very normal quality type but actually they are good and last well.

But actually they are not good and do not lasts well.... They are ultra thin and primarily porous due to which all dry foot dust filters through them and gets settled down on the main carpet so aftermarket mats are must.... One can see the light passing by through this mat which shows how much porous they are....

In Corolla the pre installed carpet mats over the car floor carpet are of superb quality for which no aftermarket mat required.

They arw pathetic quality i just threw them off at the dealership driveway, forget about thrm and buy good ones aftr market.

Do we really need to change Fuel filter and its assembly on 40k KMs service? Not on a single forum or in any maintenance guide I found that Fuel Filter and Assembly needs to be replaced that too at mere 40k Kms.

So I made an appointment for my first check up and service, the women on the phone kept on insisting to bring the warranty book. Is that normal? Im a little worried that they might cancel my suspension warranty if they see my gorgeous 17" OEM touring alloys, I plan on changing the tyres incase if I ever have to make a claim.. Can I just leave my warranty book at home?

Warranty book is a must. No workaround I'm afraid.

Civic doesn't come with mats. Mats given to people is a good will of dealerships just as i pushed my dealership to give me a set as well .

I will ask them about it on 1000 km inspection. Lets see what they say

Go thru warranty book.
Take car to the dealership the sellers claims to have been regular to. Check maintenance record and lastly get compression test done from dealership.

First thing they will ask would be warranty book so warranty booK is must ...and they will not void your warranty by seeing your Rims as long as you don't claim any thing directly or indirectly with suspension....unless you come across a shrude service person and he put that as note on your warranty book which could be referred latter when you make any thing like that claim ...but again that is very rare and most normally it doesn't happens like that....as far as I am concerned I prefer to keep car in stock state at least during warranty period ....as additional note for your kind info. ..today I went to check status of my steering claim and I saw a note on claim stating that no after market addition observed...so if I would in place of you I would stick to stock rims as precaution for 1K 5K and 10K inspection...
