It really is crap. Wifi connects after 3,4 attempts. Google maps works so slowly and there's animation lag. The back camera is horrible. And the screen is of low res and is hard to see in day time. Will get it updated tomorrow hopefully that will make things better.

10th Gen is bound to be better due to less weight and mainly due to CVT. Optimum figures from owners not yet available as Hondas start their optimum delivery after 5000 kms. But during initial period its touching 10.5 and 11 which on 9th Gen i remember was under 10 during the same initial period.

Guys Im thinking to buy Civic Oriel 1.8. There's one question I wanna ask that is a v important buying decision for me. Due to parking space issue, I have to park in neutral gear in front of my office and the parking pathan pushes my car as he wishes to make way fr other cars. Is this possible in new Oriel also?

In my current automatic car there's a place near gears where I insert my car key to shift the gear from P to N gear before getting out of the car. But I've heard its not there in new Civic. If its true, is there any way I can allow a Civic X oriel to be pushed ahead or behind (via dhakka) while im out of the car?

Just out of curiousity I want to ask the Turbo owners that how much fuel average are you guys getting? in city and on highways.
I am getting really impressive numbers after 1500km of use. I got 14-15 kmpl in city and 17-18 kmpl on highways according to the MID display (no idea about its accuracy).

Secondly, please help me out in buying OEM trunk tray and OEM floor mats. I didn't want to install the airpress that's why I haven't bought the utility package. Could anyone please tell me where to buy these things in Lahore or online.

Wow. I must say these are impressive numbers. Does it mean that 1.5 is showing its true potential I.e. low fuel consumption with high power.

Wondering how is 1.8 giving with CVT on long route?

One thing I've noticed is that there is considerable delay between pushing the pedal and the car taking of (due to turbo lag). It requires some getting used to and if you are switching between other cars, it can be a bit annoying. Of course once the turbo spools up, the acceleration is unmatched by any local car. It does put a smile on your face.

same in vezel, its not turbo lag! I don't know what it is.

How to check fuel average

1. Fill upto the brim
2. Drive 100-200 kms
3. Again fill upto brim and calculate how much fuel added and how many kms travelled
4. You will get near accurate average after three readings (averaged)

Well if you don't know then why can't it be turbo lag? May be someone driving 1.8 of X gen could tell if they too experience the slight delay.

I know there is no such delay in 9th gen, but that does not mean the 9th gen comes anywhere near to acceleration of turbo.

Interesting, where did you get the figure of 3k? Because the peak torque range is from 1.7k to 5.5k (which means turbo is spooling in that RPM range).

This video shows that as soon as the RPM is raised from idling (700+-) the bar in turbo boost meter (not available in PK model) starts to grow. Which implies the turbo is spooling from the word go.

Booked 22nd August, Expected delivery 7th January :o -- Honda Avenue Islamabad. Is that the normal booking time for most of you guys booking now or having booked recently ?

i booked my car on August 22nd and got the exact date from Honda Avenue for delivery, so i guess the time being taken by Honda Atlas is normal unfortunately.
