I've been searching this thread for info with regards to the steering system of this car (it's the same on turbo and non-turbo right?). I've driven it and found it a little different to all other local cars I've ever driven in that the steering, lock to lock is somewhere around 2.5 turns or so, meaning that from center position to full turn position, its only a little more than one turn.

Where a standard desi car(~3.5 turns lock to lock) takes one full or slightly more steering turn for a tight 90 degree residential street turn, this car does it in significantly less (around 0.75 turn).

My question: Is this an active steering system as is found on high-end vehicles abroad where the car has lesser turns lock to lock at slow speeds but at higher speeds, it has more turns lock to lock (result being: driving comfort at low speed without sacrificing precision at high speed) ? Or is it just a very sensitive steering system overall (doesn't change at higher speed) ?

Guys Alhamdullilah I received my Turbo on Saturday.

Is there a difference in how the indicator light runs depending on whether you lock it or not? I always lock it and then unlock it, whether it's turning or lane change because I like to keep both hands on steering wheel at all times. Am I doing it wrong?

In civic X you only have to flick (just a tap) the turn signal during the lane change. This will cause the signal to turn on and off for 3 times automatically, there is no need to lock it unless you are taking a turn. In all other local cars this feature is not available AFAIK.

I have 9th gen 2014 (hardtop, AT) and it does not have that.

Btw.... Not much has been said here on S mode drive.. Trust me.... The manual mode is not Grande like.

May be artificial manual.... But..... What a kick...

Who said "Turbo lag"? Try it out on manual and let me know if the beast doesn't kickstart like a jet from the moment pedal is down...

It is called a "Three Blink Signal" generically .. specifically used for the lane change on highway driving. You need to slightly tap the stick up or down to get it activated. If you push the stick full higher or lower a regular signal will get activated and will only release manually if you are driving straight. This feature was there on 9th generation Civic on international model. Honda call this feature "One-Touch Turn Signal". car companies have this for many years.. In fact almost all companies have it on all their model line up..

I know there is nothing new about this feature in international markets and it has been around for years. It is just in PK assembled cars that feature was not available until civic X (unless grande has it too, which I am not aware of).

I didnt get a chance for S drive yet but definitely will give it a try or may be I am already enjoying TURBO on this Nutella Chocolaty CVT BUt yes, S mode is a must try.

Btw Will go to Mohsin @ Shahid Autos for the Addons as I am his regular visitor. I might go for mustang style Fog cover DRLs

Sir it came in 2015 mid or end i reckon. All those with the new grill have this feature.

Honestly.... Change out bulbs only.... I am thinking of same... Else.... a 5-10k cheap China HID kit is a slap on the face of this beauty..

Yes.... If there's an original BMW HID kit around... If @50K.....I really don't know if such are available and at what cost...

You're welcome.... Have fun.... You can't have anything else with the Turbo...

I wouldn't suggest you S drive before 1000 kms...hold it back.... Coz you won't be able to hold back the tempting reving...

Course.... Looking forward to seeing your mods too...

I was offered those Mustang type too.... But.....my personal taste was for the OEM's....

In any case... Best luck
