I've been searching this thread for info with regards to the steering system of this car (it's the same on turbo and non-turbo right?). I've driven it and found it a little different to all other local cars I've ever driven in that the steering, lock to lock is somewhere around 2.5 turns or so, meaning that from center position to full turn position, its only a little more than one turn.
Where a standard desi car(~3.5 turns lock to lock) takes one full or slightly more steering turn for a tight 90 degree residential street turn, this car does it in significantly less (around 0.75 turn).
My question: Is this an active steering system as is found on high-end vehicles abroad where the car has lesser turns lock to lock at slow speeds but at higher speeds, it has more turns lock to lock (result being: driving comfort at low speed without sacrificing precision at high speed) ? Or is it just a very sensitive steering system overall (doesn't change at higher speed) ?
