True. I am using 215/50-17 since last two Gens of Civic and no problem with ride comfort at all.

This is type 1 and this too says it's pre mixed.

Type1 & Type 2 both come pre mixed.

The difference is compatibility with water pump seals and bushes made of diff material and corrosion inhibitor properties used in diff blocks in diff engine models due to diff materials/ elements used by OEMs

I think
Type 1 for city i am not sure about it.
Type 2 for civic confirmed.

But do cross check it from Manual for 100% verification

Use Type 2 for Civic Turbo. I'm not sure about City though. The Type 2 is dark blue in color whereas Type 1 is slightly lightish green. If you inspect the expansion bottle of Turbo you will see for yourself that it has the dark blue Type 2 coolant. And Type 2 is premixed of course.

honda 3s only sell type 2. Brv, city etc all use it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, does honda mean that they are going to provide free oil filter, air filter, engine oil, break pads with no labour charges for one whole year?!?!?! Or am I missing out something?

Yes for cars being bought between Jan-Mar.. A special offer for attracting the customers as the sales are low to none.

The hardtop variant now has almost all features as Oriel pre FL. In my opinion its now a sweet deal and one should get a 0 meter hardtop instead of a used Oriel 2018-2019 in same price.

HT was recently added with retractable mirrors and cruise. Now they have added push start also which were the major missing things earlier and now its all there. Rims and fog lights can be added aftermarket

So if we do the maths. Oil filter for civic turbo costs Rs.1090 plus air filter costs Rs. 3050 and engine oil 5w-30 API SN costs Rs.3570. This sums up to Rs. 7710. Now, on average, I complete 5k Kms in 4 months. So, 7710*3=23130 for one year. Now, there are going to be a lottttt of customers who are going to avail this deal/opportunity through BR-V and/or Civic turbo. This is super surprising that honda is providing this offer. How is Honda planning to cover the cost of this offer? It's going to cost honda an unimaginable amount.

Yes but there are most of the owners who deliberately use their cars less due to multiple cars at home lets say 10k kms in an year.....

Plus what you calculated is a customer end user price where as the price in which they get filters and oil is way less....

Lets say keeping in view yr calculated cost. The amount they raised as invoice price and the benefit they are giving, still they are in profit

I believe some minor details shall be told to customer after he has purchased the car. Most likely it will be for mileage of 10k in one year basis.

I agree with @jklodhi. Most probably they will provide air and oil filters at 10k km oil change service. Before that, customer will have to pay if he needs these to products at 5k km oil change service. Plus, @khuram2703 is also right. I didn't think about this before. Honda is getting these parts at much lesser price than the price at which they sell us.

There would definitely be a catch in this offer which will be revealed when a customer will be sitting in front of them to avail it.....plus yes as Khurram said...the product cost to OEM is way way less than the cost one customer pays.....imagine the manufacturing cost of civic 2005 both bumpers was 300 Rs in 2012 when i got this info through one of the vendors of Honda...and you all know how much the dealer was taking at that time....i got both of the bumpers free of cost from the factory (with little reference)..
