I returned midnight, and the car yesterday was tested in really all aspects of tough maneuvering....... It smoked out a Grande Applied For by more than a MILE in the hills!

The guy gave me what brings out the worst of Devils in me..... A "dim/full" from behind...!!! Right when I was about to overtake a Toyota Hiace..... The Grande owner wanted to overtake us both! Where? By the beginning of all those "Killer Mores" several kms afyer Kalabagh, towards Abottabad ...!!!!!!! [emoji48][emoji48][emoji48]

What followed after his annoying "dim/dull" from behind.... Since I have 16 years of snaky roads experience......... Cannot be explained in words..... A live cam would do best justice...

All I can say is... This guy is NEVER gonna challenge a Civic X Turbo in the hills and with a rider in S Mode! [emoji6][emoji23][emoji106]

To put in the fewest of words:

VSA + Turbo + S mode + Hills & Curves + Driver of a Civic X in "fun mode" = Hell-fire victory and just SCHMUCK [emoji8] [emoji8] [emoji8] [emoji8] [emoji8] [emoji182][emoji182][emoji182][emoji182][emoji182][emoji178][emoji178][emoji178][emoji178][emoji178]

i booked turbo on 28 july, delivery in November as per letter received and also dealer list ....still waiting for call to deposit balance payment. The online delivery status check says invalid / incorrect NIC/NTN number......hahaha.....Honda walo....seems they gonna deliver it on New year night.

TURBO owners:

Could someone please explain how the heck do I get the "walk-away locking function" to start working.....

YouTube explains that you have to get to the Head Unit and activate the "walk- away locking" to "ON" through "settings"!!!!!!

But Head Unit software in Pkdm seems not to be offering this option.... Or is it me who can't find it?!!!?

So nice to see the car unlocking when getting into range..... But a real PITA having to lock it with the remote manually...

Im buying the 1.8 I-Vtec Baseline variant with Navi ofcourse. Price is 23.49Lacs.

But what features does it lack as compared to the Oriel variant? M/Roof is one though!

Yes it seems so. It says the Smart Entry with Push Start is only in Oriel and Turbo, whereas the base model has Smart Entry.

Base variant has keyless entry. Smart entry is when it senses your hand on the handle and unlocks which is not available in base model. It has keyless remote lock and unlock button

YouTube explains that you have to get to the Head Unit and activate the "walk- away locking" to "ON" through "settings"!!!!!!

But Head Unit software in Pkdm seems not to be offering this option.... Or is it me who can't find it?!!!?

So nice to see the car unlocking when getting into range..... But a real PITA having to lock it with the remote manually...

Bro forget the setting option. That is only available with premium cluster and cars having android auto or apple play which we don't have in pkdm.

About manual operation of lock and unlock, aren't you using the smart entry features we have on PKDM? Use smart entry system instead of pressing remote buttons. It unlocks when your fingers go into the handle and locks when you press the small round button on handle. No need to take the remote out of your pocket.

Turbo time given to me was two months and oriel in Feb. No source from Honda. Let's see if I get the car as per the time frame.

bro u r extremely lucky to have a turbo in one & a half month without source from honda atlas. according to my knowledge still they r quoting 120 days for turbo delivery, in fact it is the official letter issued by the head office mentioning the delivery date that has the significance. net tracking is not reliable. u must deposit the differential amount that may give u a chance for an early delivery otherwise i am praying for u.

Oh.... Thanks for putting me on track.... I thought that small button in handle was only for emergency situations.... To be used with the key in remote...

Now I'll be using it for locking... Since I was already using smart entry to open.... Didn't know this button's main function...

But still.... It's a pity they didn't offer the walk away one...

Local head Unit/Navi is not integrated with ECU. Its a stand alone product, and working independently. You cant get in to engine or ECU module settings from navigation unit. so chill and enjoy with available features

I am sorry.... I am a nil wrt the lighting mods.... Kindly elaborate a bit more.... I have friends by Montgomery road who could trace up anything useful for me....
