what i fear is that with time oriel resale will go down as compared to hardtop as hardtop almost includes all features with 230k less price so oriel may not be true worth of money now in 2020 onwards ..

Even if Hardtop resale will improve that doesn’t mean Oriel resale can go wrong. Oriel might still keep enjoying a relatively better resale regardless of Hardtop resale

Both variants will have their own resale and yes if 230,000 is not an issue of budget then yes Oriel should be preferable

2018 civic 50k odo. When I drive with light foot a “kharrr kharrr sound comes from the car. Does anyone know what it might be? Noise is not too loud and only comes on light foot.

Dear Bro...your auto tensioner is faulty. I had experienced the same kind of sound and the culprit was auto tensioner, get it replaced under warranty, i did the same.....

I am experiencing the same sound. Unable to trace it so far.

for that vibration i didnt feel it after that day. now it doesnt vibrate on D mode, stop at signal and AC OFF. it was there 2 days ago and in the morning time only. in afternoon and night time i didnt felt that rattling vibration. still cannot figureout the reason.

on that day RPM was fully stable no vibration in RPM.

If you are experiencing the vibration on AC ON and it vanishes on AC OFF with stable RPM, i would still suggest to get the mountings checked. See, whenever you put load on your engine with any of the faulty mounting, you will start feeling the vibration because on load condition engine gets sudden jerks which a faulty mounting couldn't bear completely and when you take it off from the load, vibration will vanish. If all the mountings are OK, RPM is OK then get it properly tuned with some experienced guy having sound skills on civics....or leave it like that...

Rest my tip is do not think too much on "kabhi kabhi ki awazain, vibration, rattling etc etc".....they comes for some time and then goes automatically....:)...just wait for them to disappear...

Don't go for the Chinese ones. They're pathetic cuz the light isn't bright and the cutoff is fuzzy AF

Hi, I’ve had my civic 1.8 oriel for a year now, and I’ve done around 22,000km.
My car has been flawless so far except recently I’ve come across an issue with the outdoor temperature sensor.

I started my car one morning and the outdoor temperature was reading -40 degrees, which is obviously incorrect.

It remained that way for the entire day and I took it to Honda margallah to get it checked.
They ran diagnostics and concluded that the sensor was fine and that the car wasn’t giving any fault codes.
They advised that I should come on Saturday at 10am, and they will open the entire front of the car and trace back the wiring of the sensor to the ecu to resolve the issue.

The next day the sensor had resumed normal operation and is still normal. I didn’t take the car to the dealership

Has anyone had this problem before?
What do you guys recommend I do as the car is still in warranty phase.

Never buy chinese. Those are of very poor quality.
You will find Koito original lights from bilal gunj or Sultan ka khoo for 55-70k

Guys,
I got my car's fuel filter changed yesterday. But since its change my car is full of petrol smell. Technician was saying that it will fade away in couple of days. Have anyone experienced same issue?

55k-70k was old age......

Now used Koito original lights in Chah Sultan are from 90k-100k due to high import taxes and also new Honda LED light price by Atlas have increased from 72k per light to 95k per light.

The fuel filter is located and accessed from beneath the rear seat bench. There will be fumes from the fuel tank when it is removed and some fuel spillage beneath the seat when it is pulled out. So the fuel smell should go away with time. If it doesn't then there's a problem.
