So guys, as you know i was having my Civic 1.8 suddenly shutting down while driving after the fuel pump was replaced under warranty about two weeks back. So finally after emailing this life-threatening issue to Atlas Honda and raising my voice, they called the dealership and directed them to fix the issue asap.
The dealer called me and asked me to bring the vehicle and said Honda Atlas has asked them to check the BCM, fuse box and the fuel pump. So today i went to the dealership and they checked all three things and said it's the fuel pump's issue. I told them you just changed it two weeks back, they said 'kabhi new part mein bhi issue ajata hai'. Anyway, they have made a claim for a new fuel pump (again) and told me that they will call me when it has arrived. They told me it will be here in 2-3 days, until then keep the car parked because it's unsafe to drive the car which is shutting down suddenly.
It's surprising that since two weeks i am so scared to take the car out myself because of this problem and trying to keep it parked most of the time. Sometimes i feel it's just a showpiece in my garage, not for the road.
Anyway, i hope this issue is solved once and for all after replacing another fuel pump - so i can be on the road again. This was to update you guys since you were there advising me in this group.
