I hope it is launched mid next year BUT I have my reservations. The ongoing chip shortage, the plant upgrade, local parts development do take time and keeping in mind , Atlas already under pressure for the delivery of the City.

The Civic X was launched within 8 months of International launch and it was disaster , too many issues and those still haunts Atlas. Civic X was on new platform but Atlas did the required upgrade and was ready with the PK Domestic model very quickly. Although the Civic XI is using same platform with some enhancements , it do needs a new welding / brazing system for the aluminum roof of the Civic and likewise some other maybe minor upgrades.

If we apply Civic X formula, we should have the new Civic by December 21 BUT I have my doubts.

sir, I said if we apply same timeline of arrival as we saw with Civic X, which was within 7 months of international launch, PKDM Civic XI might be here in December BUT this is not going to happen this time with Civic XI. I think expect another facelift of Civic X before Civic XI launch. I think we are at least 6 to 8 months away at this point from the next generation Civic in Pakistan.

New Front Bumper
Blue Cluster Full Digital Speed o Meter
Blind Spot Camera on Left Mirror
And Some External & Internal Cosmetics changes to make this generation Alive till 2023

They may increase the price along with inclusion of a few upgrades like back view auto dimming mirror, rain sensor, cluster or a bumper.
Similar instance is the toyota indus guys when they stick hediously looking black paint on bumpers and out of proportion bodykit to justify price increase.

Honda will never do another facelift of civic for the followign reasons:

Civic real killers are the crossover SUVs on the upper band and altis x on the lower band. No amount of facelift can cater for this competition.
City strategy can never be taken as the example for civic. Honda started their manufacturing with civic in pakistan and civic is their premium brand. city has always been a second tier operation. i think you guys have forgotten the flops like city vario and a generation before it.
Unless Honda launches a pkdm crv / hrv or the new BRV which doesnt look likely, they have to upgrade to the the new civic. they do not have anyother option. remember, they introduced the new city because yaris/changan killed city sales.
stop anticipating high cost for new car launch prices. always give your lowest guess. Pakwheels is the only forum in pakistani market which is a reflection of mass conciousness. if the users represent the voice of people in pakistan then the OEMs will think that pakistanis are already good with 6.0 million civic so lets spank them.
civic 11 is no lambourghini which cant come in 2022 and under 4,5 mill. stopp inflatting honda pakistans ego and assumptions. its a normal sedan with nothing very special about it, the only thing good is that they have increase the wheelbase and decluttered it from inside to make it feel more roomy.
