Again, you forget the taxes we have to pay in Pakistan, or rather the manufacturer has to pay. Take a look at one of your invoices if you want to complain about car prices and see the sales tax the govt puts on people.
Don't feel the need to attack. If you want to make a point, make one in a civilized way. If you want to get a US Spec Civic for this same price, try purchasing one from the US and importing it here. Then tell me if you are paying more for PKDM or USDM.
Again, I didn't defend the lack of 6 airbags but I understand why they are not there. Would you buy a Civic RS Turbo priced at 70+ lacs? This is not some scrap market where you can purchase airbags for 15-20k. Each airbag costs around 75k to Honda.
Also, your focus seems to be the bells and whistles, which are mostly useless here in Pakistan. If you want to compare to chinese cars, there is no point. You cannot even compare KIA and Hyundai with Toyota and Honda in terms of reliability and quality, let alone chinese cars. Any electronics put into the car have to be imported from Japan and the difference in price between Japanese, Korean and Chinese parts is insane. A wireless charger costs around 3k for Hyundai whereas the one for Honda is around 15-20k.
I get you are frustrated with the pricing but think about car choices rationally. I have a Civic Rebirth from 2014 which is still in amazing condition after being driven over 250k km. Meanwhile I have a relative who lives abroad (in Saudi) and they have a Sonata from 2017. That car has a leaking roof and it hasn't even been driven a lot, only 95k km.
Again, no need to attack. We are very well aware of what other countries are getting, and they have been getting this stuff for over 2 decades. Nothing new.
