i wont call this one an improvement rather a tone down from previous generation .. civicx was a breakthrough design a one off for the honda civic was attention grabbing from every angle .. this new one not really and every review you will see the same statement that this new design is toned or honda played safe this time around .. especially the front looks like its missing something its more evident when you see it in lighter colors .. honda did what they already did made reborn sporty/agressive while for the following 9th gen(rebirth) they made it bland same case is with this new civicxi.

It was the same hue and cry with the petrol variant of the Fortuner. Guess how many of those are on the road. Most of the people buying the Oriel won't even care about the horsepower. There is not to say Atlas doesn't have faults or isn't ripping customers off, it's just a fact that they know all too well that they can get away with this.

lol same. Apologies if I came across a bit strong towards you. It was generally aimed at people on this forum who are obsessed with top speed? There are some who are already claiming that this Civic Oriel is slower than old Oriel? Or it is slower than Grande? Ridiculous claims for short amounts of time. These were the same people who were saying that 6th Gen 1.5 City would be slower than 1.3. Just for fun. Such baseless stuff is stupid and just serves to increase confusion and hate.

Mushkil se nahi asaani se puchega, it's a good option in 35 Lac range for 2016 and 2017 X. Look at rebirth 2013-2014, easily fetches 25-26Lac. Someone even wanted to buy my Rebirth for 32.5 . New one is toooo expensive and out of range for many people. Civic X ki resale market achi hi hogi. Reborn has too many issues and loge oss ko maintenance ke wajay haath nahi lagatay. Still a genuine Reborn with low km's is 20+ easily nowadays.

main resale ki baat nai kar raha .. if you didnt understand what i said read again .. aur ye ap ki ghalat fehmi hai reborn ku aj bhi har koi manta hai kay kya legendary ghari hai .. everyone knows rebirth was almost flop model .. i am talking about overall looks/design which hands down reborn was miles ahead same case is with this new xi now there is more demand for civicx as people see that the shape of civicxi is not as attractive/sporty as civicx ... ghari apni value khud banati hai ap ki logic kay hisaab say ju ye vintage porches/lamborghini apnay brand new model say bhi 1000 times zaida high price pay sale hoti hain in auction ...in ki zero price honi chahiye ? change your angle of aproach and you will come to know .

If we pay 100% upfront, and afterwards price increases, would differential have to be paid?

What is the Atlas policy on this?

Do other car makers also follow as policy as Atlas?

A friend of mine has been told by Kia Dealership that if he had paid 100% upfront at the time of booking, then increase in prices now would not have been applicable on him.

How true is this?

All three variants of the new Civic have turbo engines with same displacement. Then what makes RS produce way more horsepower and torque? Can anyone please guide?

The transmission is the bottle neck in Oriel and Base

We have to pay, but still i paid in full. reason is chances are double to get early delivery for full payment based on past experience. everything depends on the speed of production. Also sometimes full payment walay bach bhi jatay hain. partial per teeka pakka hai

Yes but I think power and torque are produced in the engine... I am finding it confusing how the type of transmission can affect the power and torque numbers generated by the engine...

Oriel and Base engines are detuned from factory. Similar to what Germans have been doing in their cars for ages to segment trims/engines.

Probably lower pressure and different engine map to reduce peak HP and Torque.

MCVT is very limited and detune here is to Kepe difference in Oriel and RS

Even US variants with 2.0liter 158hp engine has mcvt
So nothing bad
