But they did manage to detune the old rs so you never know. Still don't think they would detune by this much and keep the spec sheet numbers the same. But then they kept the same spec sheet numbers for the old rs after the detune.

I was certain but after seeing US forums, situation seems different to me. After all its the fuel and with normal fuel availability for masses and most will be using normal, these figures are making sense. Honda japan as 51 % shares so atlas has less control actually or just peanuts.

G Fazal Bhai , its mentioned that's what the forums above are explaining. Claims are much different than real world for some reason, may be Honda knows. Specs mentioned are 20.2 for Accord but still see the above forums. Those are people living and driving in US.

Its theory vs Actual to be precise. You can see both Accord and Civic figures from different drivers who tested by Ktuner. Basically ktuner 0+ gets 16 on stock map, safe and FUN, ofcourse fuel dependancy would remain

PKDM Civic X RS is DETUNED 100% and to around 161HP. I can unofficially confirm this.

PKDM Civic XI RS seems also detuned and one thing is the 220NM Torque it has comparing the 240NM for the overseas model. As we discussed many times, I personally think the Civic XI RS has the same tune as Civic X RS .

Atlas has decent 4 years of data for counter knocking measures and basically after the new map was implemented on Civic X Turbo to control the knock. I an sure they are using the same one on Civic XI RS and not taking chances for knocking.

G there is no denial as we all know the knocking issue faced here. However, Above forums tell that even US guys are getting different figures, more close to our testers using Ktuner. May be then there is something other than the boost pressure as well in our detune., we don't know. For sure, US guys should be getting the claimed ones? but they didn't.

Did customers face knocking issue in US as well? From forums, i didnt find much on knocking but atleast boost pressure matches the video @Nabeel_Ali shared in the forum. Kuch to garbar hai , no i think, all Turbo claims are more theoritical

The Civic Si makes 200 on spec sheet but makes 222hp on the third part dyno by Hondata. Its also makes more torque than advertised.

. So, here its under-rated.

My 2016 Turbo has the ECU flash done to it from Honda. I don't know what power it's producing, but there's absolutely NO comparison between it and a Grande.

the our detuning is different. Its not Boost for sure as US has proper quality fuel and 12-13 boost pressure on stock vs 16 claimed is interesting and that too from multiple users. As an added point, same situation with Accord in US. May be ktuner has different type of measurement.

I was surprised that either companies lie worldwide or Ktuner reading is different than actual, but really interesting overall.

They are indeed.... for Accord as well and for regular touring as well .. There are bundles of posts and may be all companies lie with these claims.. Now i really wanna see ktuner on Stock old Turbo showing even 15.

Again ktuner could be one showing these values...as we cannot take Ktuner more reliable than official claims.

Torque figures are really nice. Starting straight from 1800rpm.
Pretty efficient turbo.

this is the boost figure from the video. it hovers around 12-13. Unfortunately i cannot attach the video here due to some error.

Its mostly done due to fuel. There are also many civic owners in small cities where fuel is beyond pathetic so Honda may have detuned to this extent. Lets see what other owners have to say. Just my POV is that turbos main USP is performance so this is disappointing for me. Rest everyone have their own reasons

I totally understand your point but if you see above images from us forums, stock boost shown by ktuner is same what this video shows. Fuel is definitely a thing but m sure with hobc from pso in particular the results may improve although us has good quality fuel still people say even accord claims of 20.2 are not true

Actually the last civic x Rs was also quite fast on normal super. Fuel definitely impacts but not by this much.

We have yet to see a proper review. I did keep x rs, yes it was too good. The current video is not really something i can rely on. I m waiting for some good reviews. Or may be i can arrange some just to test.. fingers crossed
