90 % civic booked by investors in collaboration with 3s dealers.No1 giving 6/7/8 lacs own . Investors badly stuck .
Atlas jumped in to safeguard it's dealers and investors interest and raised prices .
Now some awam will happily give around 2/3/4 lacs own money and every1 live happily for time being .
Overall actual end user sales would remain depressed despite all this pricing gimmick

Car mafias taking full benefit of political instability in the cty...
With the induction of different car brands, the prices were supposed to be competitive as per the norms of the industry. However, in Pakistan its the other way around. Govt intervention is urgently required to stop the car mafias from looting the customers, otherwise prices will continue to increase big time.

I hope the ‘make in pakistan’ crowd is happy now. Been saying for many years, tighten imports and watch local producers fleece consumers for every last penny.

my new civic 2022 RS will be delivered in a few months. I'm looking for best tire and wheel setup for optimum performance. will a 15 inch rim fit also will I be able to keep my overall diameter the same. the main point is to get a smaller and lighter rim but it also has to fit and look good aesthetically, is this possible

thats exactly what happens when we blindly accept everything… thats why i had been staying that at some point one has to take a principle stance but many here still justify the prices… and link that with delivery times, which are fake…
lets not compare it with anything else and other options, just take a stance that we will not buy a poorly valued product.
nothing, absolutely nothing would happen to our prestige if we don't buy a new car, if we don't upgrade but this collective stance will certainly push the car companies to change… this has happened globally, can happen here as well…

We are probably seeing a 7 million price tag for the RS by mid next year. Even at 6.2 million the car was quite overpriced. 6.5 million and civic doesn't sound good together. Now how many people are still willing to get this car at such atrocious price tag ? I guess a whole lot. Buhat paisa hai Yaha pr logon k pass. And the people at Honda Atlas know this. They know people WILL still buy it even if they further increase the price by 500k. Koi pursan e haal Nahi hai yahan. Very unfortunate for people like me whose budgets were already very stretched but were still going to buy RS. Not anymore. I guess I am going to keep my Corolla X SE for a couple more years.

The budget you had, why didn’t you opted for a cross over SUV. I just want to know the main deciding factors you considered

I already had a 2010 landcruiser ZX back in jan (Now sold and bought 22 fortuner sigma ) at home so no need for an SUV, and these sportage tucson aren't really suvs just normal cars with a little better ground Clarence.
I have a 2016 oriel which I bought brand new and was looking to replace it with new shape and keep it for house use till next shape.

But now Tuscon is looking like an attractive option at this pricepoint

There are multiple reasons.

1. Crossovers were priced similarly and are all obsolete models in our market. I m only talking about brands here.

2. Koreans csuvs have less actual features vs RS

3. Prices are similar, availability is even worse for tuscon.

No driving pleasure is cherry on top vs a sedan. These factors forced customers to remain loyal to sedan. Problem is nothing is now vfm and interestingly companies who are selling old models since years are asking for equally high prices because there is no check n balance.
